Spa Garden Cottage

It was a beautiful property with all the we needed for a relaxing stay. Having the Spa outside was an added bonus and the owners could not have been more helpful with any questions we had.

All of the useful kitchen wear. Pretty much everything you need was there apart from pepper and tinned foil. Really was a great kitchen to cook in, added touches everywhere (natural cleaning products and toiletries) , the outdoor space was a stunning place to relax and dine in the sun too. The beds were really comfortable and could feel no expense spare on the mattresses and duvets. The decor of the whole cottage was so pretty too. The hot tub and sauna was also a nice add on for our girlie break. (We did think maybe a couple of sun loungers would of made it even better) Also the tipsy fox pub, a 10 min walk away has a lovely garden for the summer and their roast was really lovely.

Personally would have preferred a hot tub that you didn’t have to pre heat etc. but totally understand that the natural elements completely alines with the cottage and environment. Maybe the logs could have a home too where they don’t get wet when it rains. The induction hob was a little temperamental but we worked through it. And the host was very informative and helpful but some of the ladies was a little unsettled that she appeared in the garden when we got there without knocking. (She was only try to show us how to use the hot tub and sauna but I also understand why they was a little concerned she would just appear at any point of our stay)

The location was perfect as were the facilities. Ideal whether you just want to chill and relax or explore!

A beautiful cosy cottage welcomed us for a weekend away. The deco is what we just love, fluent across the whole property, simple, cosy, with great attention to detail, creating soft and relaxing atmosphere. The cottage had everything we needed, we especially enjoyed the luxurious feel of the beds with crispy sheets, shower with superb water pressure, conservatory with serene views over beautifully looked after garden, garden patio with relaxing time in hot tub and sauna, refreshing dip in cold water plunge. The wood was all set to be ready to lit for the sauna and hot tub, and plenty of wood to keep feeding the fire was provided. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary tools for cooking, the fridge freezer was very good size, plenty of storage space. The whole property was very clean and had a feel of being well looked after. The parking was great as there is a carport with EV charger. Location was great for us, in the country, short walking distance to town centre and short drive away from Horsham centre. There were lovely pubs and cafes in vicinity. It was a lovely piece of heaven for three mum friends treating themselves to a lovely retreat. We also can easily imagine the property being occupied by a family for holidays. We loved it and we are seriously considering coming back again. The hosts communicated clearly what the property provides, gave precise directions to the property and how to access it. The welcome book with the instruction on how to look after the property also included some maps of walks in the area. We had a hustle free stay and felt very looked after.

The slight disadvantage for some could be that the property has one bathroom located downstairs only. Secondly, with the relatively close approximate to an airport, there were few airplanes flying overhead. We actually enjoyed watching them and spotting different airlines logos and guessing where are they going. One thing we would suggest to improve is to provide manual/instruction on how to heat the firewood supplied sauna and hot tub. One of us is familiar with log burners, so we figured it out pretty quickly, however for some less experienced occupier it would be useful to follow some instruction.
