La casa está genial,no le falta ni un solo detalle, es muy cómoda y amplia. Destacar la tranquilidad de la urbanización y sobre todo la cercanía tanto a la playa como al pueblo. En esta preciosa localidad moverse con vehículo en estas fechas es muy complicado.

The best part about the property is definitely the pool.

The first thing we were not happy about is that they make you go pick up the keys to a completely different location that is pretty far away, specially if you have luggage. The listing says check-in begins at 16:00 but we had to fight with the management company to let us in before 17:00. We weren’t off to a great start. The house is nice, but it has many walls and feels a bit like a bunker. When we arrived, many things in the house did not work: the air conditioning (important, specially in 34 degree weather), the internet, the doorbell, and the fridge (it was full of ice). The owner claimed it was “weird”, because he had had people stay right before us and they hadn’t reported any issues. The owner was kind at first and called the repair people for the AC and internet (which were our priorities) right away. He said he lives 1000 km away and that this would not happen if he was around. “Understandable”, we thought. The internet company came right away and replaced the modem “because it was old”. That’s when we learnt that no guests had stayed at the house since the summer before, so finding a bunch of issues was to be expected. I wish somebody had warned us about it and I felt like the owner had lied to my face. The AC guy said he would need to knock down the part of the ceiling to repair the downstairs unit, and we said no thanks, we don’t want to live through construction during our stay. The owner then went on to blaming us for not wanting to have the AC repaired while we were in the house. What? He was no longer mister nice guy. The pool is great and the beach is relatively near, but the town is kind of far away and there are no restaurants around other than the chiringuito at the Parque de la Atalaya, a beautiful place. Then the checkout came. We asked the owner for permission to leave the luggages outside of the entrance, out of everybody’s way.
