Appartement plein sud, Val Thorens Centre

Located very close to bus station, shops, ski rental, Cairn lift and slopes. Apartment is on ground level.

Very small studio apartment for 2 if you use the sofa bed in living area. Should be perfect for a couple. Bathroom also very small. Noisy apartment block.

De locatie was perfect. Het appartementje was netjes en schoon. Prima WiFi. Locker verderop in de gang voor de skispullen. Vanuit het appartement direct naar de pistes kunnen skiën. Alles op korte loopafstand door centrale ligging.

De bedden, de douche en de TV hebben een upgrade nodig. Als je wat zwaarder bent, dan voel je hoe dun het matras is. Als je de mengkraan van de douche (geen thermostaatkraan) naar links doet dan krijg je kokend water over je heen. Dit is dus gebeurd maar gelukkig snel met een icepack opgelost. De douchekop kan ook niet worden opgehangen, dus lastig douchen met maar een vrije hand. De verwarming deed het niet. Het was niet koud (appartementencomplex) maar je spullen drogen niet goed. De TV heeft geen Netflix mogelijkheid en is klein. Tip: als je een Chromecast dongle aansluit kan dit opgelost worden als je Netflix cast van een smartphone.

Comfortable bed, wonderful views to wake up/go to sleep with. The apartment was more spacious than anticipated, very comfortable. The location on the ground floor was excellent. There were no noise issues either, despite laud music being played in the centre of the resort in the evenings that week (some sort of festival). And of course the skiing area, can't beat it really. Skiing out directly from the back door. Skiing in was not possible, mainly because poor snow condition in the resort itself (late March). A great find overall.

Ideal location to the main bus station

Quite noisy, so very close to main entrance people seem to stand outside talking loudly. Needed a doormat as you entered the property. All the wet and dirt came in on your feet. Cleaning staff, obviously didn’t do a good job.
