We really enjoyed the location and the surrounding environment—it felt peaceful and convenient at the same time. The overall vibe of the house was lovely, with a warm, cozy atmosphere. We especially appreciated the thoughtful colour scheme and tasteful decoration throughout, including the decorative lighting on display items, which added a really nice touch.
The host clearly put a lot of care into the details. There were family board games available, and all the essentials like shampoo and toiletries were provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and was tidy and spotless.
We were also impressed by the extra touches, such as umbrellas, DIY tools, a fire blanket, and a well-stocked first aid box. These thoughtful additions made our stay even more comfortable and reassuring.
Overall, a very well-prepared and welcoming place to stay.
One thing we didn’t particularly like was the smell inside the house. It seems the property had been recently refurbished, so there was a noticeable paint smell throughout our stay.
We appreciated that the host had thoughtfully provided room spray, and we did use it. However, it only masked the smell temporarily, and the paint scent would return after a while. It didn’t ruin our stay, but it was something we were quite aware of during our time there.

The location was 10mins to the beach. And it was available at late notice. The Ambilight TV's were an eye opener. The weather was fantastic. Wifi was a surprise.
Sorry, Though a clean and minimal look, you can see that it needs some basic maintenance. Toilet roll holder and toilet seat spring to mind. The beds felt like you were trying to sleep on a sheet over a pile of washing... Each night, we re-stretched the mattress protector at fault, and within minutes, it'd wrinkle up under you. Winter duvets, are a tad warm for summer.
Quite tired after the week.
Another basic maintenance thing; After we had hoovered the house, it was still dusty (awful hoover), so I stripped the hoover and cleaned the filters before re-hoovering the house with a (now) brilliant hoover. Just basics...
