The Villa is really homely and peaceful, a lovely place to come back and relax after a day or exploring. The house is well equipped, air con works well, the main bed is a comfy super king with high quality pillows and I was a big fan of the giant and deep bath... that was a nice surprise! The kids were very happy on the large sofa bed upstairs. The pool is also great, around 26 degrees and maybe a max depth of about 1.4m. It was on the smaller side but perfect for the kids, could comfortably fit some blow up toys and jumping children and we appreciated the extra towels provided for pool use and beach trips. The surrounding gardens and birds are just beautiful, we loved having our morning coffee on the patio dining table and you can really see how much love and work this family put in to running their home and businesses. Marie speaks perfect English and she and her husband Philippe are really lovely and accommodating, allowing us early check in and late check out which was very helpful with our flight schedule! The keyless entry also worked well and the private gated development generally felt really safe and secure. The bus stops and train station aren't too far but we ended up using Uber mostly, which was very easy and not too expensive. We would love to return one day!

It was slightly further away from supermarkets than expected, but there is a lovely fruit market (also sells eggs) a short walk away. It would also be nice to have a larger sofa downstairs to watch a movie as a family, however the bed was so big that all 4 of us could comfortably watch TV in the bedroom If needed
