Nestled in a quiet mountain neighborhood, surrounded by pine trees, at the base of Old Man Mountain, Bear House is the perfect family retreat. With 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, private hot tub, air hockey, foosball, ping pong and lots of TVs, this home is a favorite for a multi-generation reunion as well as a friend’s getaway.

Bear House is less than 1 mile to downtown Estes Park and only 3 miles to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Through the front door and up a few steps you will find the living room with an electric fireplace and smart TV. The kitchen and dining room are roomy with everything you need to cook your favorite family meals. There is comfy seating nearby so you can sit and chat while waiting for the oven to finish its job!

Just off the kitchen is the deck where you will find a picnic table with chairs, a grill and an outdoor heater. This the ideal place for an evening get together recounting the day's adventures or a morning cup of coffee while you listen to the birds wake up.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the washer and dryer are on the main level. One bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The other bedroom has a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower tub combo accessed from the hallway. With four sleeping upstairs, the rest of the family will sleep on the lower level.

The bedrooms downstairs will sleep eight. At the foot of the stairs is a bedroom with a queen bed. Across the hall is the ‘kids’ bedroom. With a queen bed and "twin over twin" bunkbeds, your kids can spread out! Easy access to the bathroom in the hallway with a shower gives everyone time to get ready in the morning.

The fifth bedroom, with a queen bed, is tucked away on the other side of the TV game room. It has an ensuite bathroom with a shower and is the fourth bathroom in this home.

The game room is a great place for kids of all ages. Foosball and air hockey with a ping pong table in the garage (through the door in the hallway) will provide endless family fun and competition.

If you are not up for competition and would rather just chill, check out the hot tub accessed through the door in the game room. This amazing hut tub seats 6 people, has 38 jets, underwater lights, bucket seats, foot jets and a lounge. The best place to relax and enjoy after a long day of hiking and exploring.

Whether you are planning an extended family vacation and grandma wants everyone under one roof, a girl’s getaway or a guy’s fishing trip, Bear House offers what you need. With enough room to get together or spread out, Bear House is the place to be.

What To Be Aware Of:

Please do not mail or ship anything to this home.

Garage is used as a game room - no parking in the garage.

Parking for 4 cars in driveway.

No large vehicles, i.e. RVs, trailers.

No Parties. No Smoking. No Pets. Fines apply.

Quiet Time 9 p.m.

SkyRun hot tubs are not intended for children.

Guest buys own soaps/paper items when provided starter kit items are depleted.

Estes Park is a Dark Sky Community. Bring a Flash Light.

BEARS in the area - secure trash, lock doors and windows when leaving.

Highly recommended AWD or 4WD in winter to get up driveway.

This home does not have a weekly trash pick up service. Trash will be picked up at departure. If necessary, trash will be picked up mid-stay for a nominal fee. Call the office at 970-480-8845. Trash must not overflow the bear proof trash can or be stored in the garage or home.
