Villa do Monte

Das Haus hat Geschichte und wir sind stolz dort gewesen zu sein. Das alte Familienhaus welches sehr schön umgebaut wurde und extrem viel Platz bietet. Die Location ist perfekt. Man lebt wie ein Local, totale Ruhe, Aussicht aufs offene Meer aus der Küche, oder in die Berge vom Schlafzimmer aus. Wir haben es so sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Am liebsten für immer.

Die Bewertungen der Franzosen. Die haben wirklich keine Ahnung und Menschen die sagen dass die Location weit weg ist. Jeder Mensch kann google Maps verwenden und wer kein Auto auf Madeira hat ist selbst schuld.

Rapidez na reserva. Facilidade na comunicação com o anfitrião. Excelentes condições, conforto e espaço.

Prachtige locatie. Je komt er volledig tot rust. Op kwartiertje rijden zit je in Porto Moniz. Het is de ideale plek om het westen van Madeira te verkennen.

The villa is set in an extremely quiet location just at the outskirts of the small town, which itself seemed quiet. At nights, you can hear the crickets making their noises, which I haven't heard since i was a child. If you have a car, Porto Moniz is only about 15 minutes away at the bottom of the mountain. The roads leading up the mountain are quite steep and windy, but in good condition so be aware. Nearby, there is a really good restaurant serving brilliant Espetada, and a couple of shops. The hosts were very responsive and helpful via messaging. The villa itself was very clean. The towels and sheets had that nicely laundered smell (a big thing for me). People mention the lack of air conditioning, but it isn't required as the ambient climate is quite cool (we visited in August), being at a higher altitude. It has full kitchen and laundry facilities which is great if you have young ones.
