It was worth every penny and I would highly recommend staying here.

The property was just as described. There wasn’t enough water for a waterfall but there were some small pools of water in the creek that my boys liked. The woods were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring them. The house itself was very well stocked and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The s’mores set up was an extra bonus. We made a fire and cooked those the first night! Location was perfect! Not too far from Hot Springs but far enough to get the solitude feel. Wendi was a great hostess! She answered all my questions in a timely manner and was very helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was that we didn’t get to see any deer in the backyard but we did see some in other places.

Very very secluded

The host responds quickly to messages and problems. The house was comfortable if you want to be extremely secluded. We did have issues with the AC but the host responded quickly and sent over a tech.

Steep driveway. No waterfall but it was dry and at no fault to the host. Hair in the ice trays. The house and fridge had an odd smell but luckily I brought air freshener. It is an older home so maybe the smell just comes with age. The king size bed needs an upgrade. The mattress was hard and noisy. Need a lamp in the bunk bed room. Kids tend to be a little timid in complete darkness in an unfamiliar place.

Not recommended for seniors

We liked that it was out in the country

It was very dated, only 1 TV in the whole home, the mini waterfall was actually a micro mini, very deceptive description of a waterfall. It was not included in the description that you need to be very agile to go up and down lots of steps to get to the driveway, the trashcan, the firepit, there were a few trips and falls by myself and grandson. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that has mobility issues. Even people who are agile would have issues and the driveway is very hard to get in and out of from the road.

Relaxing, peaceful and cozy home

The home was cozy and had everything you needed while there. We used the gas grill for BBQ, watched movies on our Netflix, and enjoyed games(we took our own but owners had plenty there. It's very relaxing there. The beds was comfortable and the pull out couch had a very comfortable mattress. Plenty of linens and extra blankets to use while watching movies or just extra on the beds. Not too far from town. There's fishing up at the entrance of the gated community its inside. Playgrounds close if you have children tho we didn't. The owners left the ingredients for smores on the counter for smores at the firepit. Easy instructions given to get in the gate and in the home. Everything is labeled which is a great addition so you know what switch goes to what. Great home for peaceful retreat or a getaway for a mental reset like our group was there for. Just a break away from your everyday lives. Will return when in the area and definitely recommend! Only tv is in the living room which we enjoyed because it made us all congregate together for movies at night. AWESOME RENTAL!

The steep driveway but there's parking on the roadside of the property if needed. It's beside the road so your vehicle isn't parked on the road which is great.

Perfect location. The kids loved the pool and the smores kit left for them on the counter. The boys even got to see a bear out the window at around midnight and they said it was so cool to see.

The driveway is extremely steep but easier to back down than up.

Amazing House for Families

The cabin was in a great location (only 5 minutes from Lake Catherine and 30 minutes from Hot Springs). My 3 and 6 year old loved the creek in the back and the neighborhood playground. The rooms were a great size and the kitchen had cookware making it easy to make meals.

Overall, everything was excellent. If I could change anything I would make the beds just a tad softer.

A little confusing to get to and not fond of the gated community. The driveway is EXTEMELY steep and scary if you aren't used to it.

this is an absolutely breathtaking property. you are far enough away from town to have quite, but only a few minutes drive to state park or central ave in Hot springs

Just what this teacher needed!

The home was very comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there with the exception of soap which was no problem. The home is tastefully decorated with plenty of space. We were disappointed that the waterfall was not flowing as everything was so dry and the pool was closed neither was of any control of the home owners. We will definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

The only thing I didn't like is the very steep driveway and one tire of my car even went off the pavement. It was dark and I couldn't judge where the edge was. Thankfully my husband guided me out of what seemed more scarry than it actually was.😊

Amazing getaway spot for the family to relax.

it was a very beautiful home. Nicely secluded area and very private. the waterfall and creek that runs through the property was lovely and we enjoyed waking up to running water and birds chirping.

The internet and cable were a bit slow and not very many channels
