Top Floor Diamond Beach 701 - Queen of Diamonds has amazing ocean and city views. Large 2 bedroom, 2 bath, sleeps 6. From the moment you walk into the Queen of Diamonds on the Penthouse floor of The Diamond Beach Resort, guests will have the most highly sought after floor plan offered at the resort. This is the very large two bedroom, two bath unit that is located on the easternmost corner of Diamond Beach - offering 1385 square feet interior and 210 square feet of outdoor patio space to enjoy both city views and full Gulf of Mexico views high atop The Diamond Beach Resort.
This very special property has a curved wall of glass that surrounds the spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen area with direct views to the Gulf of Mexico as well as the view of the evening fireworks that take place at Moody Gardens on summer weekend nights and other special occasions. This unit boasts a view from every living area including both bedrooms! Updated, custom kitchen with large island, custom cabinetry and stainless appliances. A view to the water while you prepare the spectacular "fresh catch" of the day. The primary bedroom features king size bed and en suite bath with walk in shower and flat screen television, The second bedroom has two twin beds, flat screen television and a gorgeous view of the water. Second bath has deep soaking tub to relax after a long day enjoying all of the amenities of The Diamond Beach Resort.
Amenities at The Diamond Beach Resort include a cascading 300' swimming pool with a 750' lazy river and water slide, private cabanas and beach access. The Diamond Beach Resort also offers an indoor heated pool, concierge service and a business center (if you must!), while children play in the jungle room. Ocean Cinema has some scheduled films or you can reserve a private showing for your guests. Wine and dine in the elegant private dining area. The refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser did not operate upon arrival. We reported it and were told to contact the rental company… I called each day… they said a repair person would come… no one came day one… I called again day two and was assured someone would come… no one came… I called again day three and was told the supervisor would come… no one came… call again and was told the supervisor would arrive before Noon… came back at 2:00 and found a bag of ice in the freezer… still no water! No app9ogy or explanation. In addition, the grout in the tile of the floors in the unit is dirty… we tried to clean a small area to be sure it is dirt… for such a wonderful unit, these deficiencies are disappointing… especially for Vrbo!!!

Beautiful view from living room, master bedroom and balcony

Property was very nice, however two issues presented themselves with the unit. First, the beds were not comfortable, all members of our party had difficulty sleeping on the very HARD mattresses. Second the units AC unit was quite loud when turning on.
