Lovely rooms and great views over Kandy. Great pool. Meals were really tasty and filling. The staff were friendly and helpful. The local tuk tuk driver, chap called Lara, was really helpful dropping us around places, with plenty of fun chat.

It’s was bit more expensive than others.

Le personnel était fabuleux, très à l’écoute et attentionné, toujours disponible. La vue était à couper le souffle, et l’emplacement offre un cadre paisible. De plus la chambre était très propre et la literie confortable. Le petit déjeuné et le dîner sont excellents. La piscine est un vrai plus. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

L'hôtel est très confortable, calme, et avec une belle vue. Le personnel est très attentif, de bonne humeur et aidant. Piscine à débordement avec belle vue.

La communication n'a pas été facile car le personnel ne parle que très peu anglais (vive google traduction). La situation en hauteur fait qu'il est difficile de trouver un transport : il faut demander au personnel et les tuk-tuk qui viennent multiplient par deux les tarifs car vous n'avez pas le choix et la coté est très très raide. Un peu excentré (3 km du centre ville) mais pour être au calme avec vue il faut bien ça : c'est un choix ! Attention pour les repas il faut commander 2 heures avant minimum (à savoir !) et ce n'est pas au niveau car ils font finalement avec ce qu'ils ont le jour "j" donc le menu n'est pas respecté donc il vaut mieux sortir diner ou déjeuner.

My room was stunning, the balcony and view was excellent. The breakfast was good too. The one member of staff was as helpful as he could be. Lara their Tuk Tuk driver was very good too, he speaks good English and is really helpful, caring and honest.

I was so disappointed that there was only one member of staff for my stay. The one guy was amazing and had to be the receptionist, the cleaner, and the waiter. It was absolutely crazy. Sometimes I’d wait for half an hour to an hour to be served at busy times. The poor guy had to do so much. I’m not sure why the owners think this is ok?? I don’t feel they’re treating their member of staff fairly at all and impacts on customer service. My score for customer service was high for all the work he did on his own. Overall, I’ve scored that is unacceptable. The food in the evening was really bad too and get the impression this is not a professional cook - I feel there was an issue with staffing for sure.
