New in 2024: We have recently enlarged the downstairs bedroom and transformed the primary bathroom shower into a walk-in feature. Additionally, a new concrete slab has been poured on the back deck/yard, significantly expanding the outdoor space for your enjoyment. These upgrades have enhanced the overall spaciousness and comfort of the home, making it feel even larger. You can also enjoy the newly added outdoor shower located next to the BBQ.

Under new ownership, this deluxe cottage in South Bend, also known as Bay Center, features a 180-degree view of the bay, an electric fireplace to keep you cozy, a private deck, and beach access just next door. But first, start the day on the deck with a cup of coffee. Enjoy the seaside views, as well as a wide variety of bird life, and then plan for the day.

The views continue inside, thanks to huge waterfront windows and French doors. Prep some breakfast in the updated kitchen, which features a full suite of stainless steel appliances and all the gadgets you need to make everything from oatmeal to omelets. Dine together at the table tucked into a cozy corner, or step back outside and dine alfresco on the picnic table.

When it’s time to head out, you’ve got easy easy access to world-class oysters, a brewery, golf at Peninsula Golf Course in Long Beach and Highland Golf Course in Cosmopolis, waterfront parks with boat launches, and you’re just ten miles from downtown South Bend with great restaurants, shopping, and more.

In the evening, get comfy on the couch in front of the flatscreen TV, which features complimentary Dish TV, or head to the living area upstairs and get lost in a good book. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
