Upon entry to High Pointe, you are greeted by a fully appointed, well-stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for all guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Great views of the Gulf of Mexico and the pool welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets from the comfort of your balcony
Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom and a queen bed with twin bunks in the guest bedroom.
High Pointe 224 is close to multiple attractions for you and your family to enjoy. In addition to a range of activities within the resort—including tennis courts, shuffleboard, and pickleball courts—nearby 30-Angler, less than two miles down the road, offers access to several reefs located throughout the Gulf of Mexico. There are tons of activities for any age, including hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, historical tours, and live concerts.
Guests must be above the age of 25, or must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are not welcome to accompany their families at this home, events are not allowed and it is a strictly non smoking property.
*Please note, golf carts are strictly prohibited in the High Pointe Resort

This is our second time staying at High Pointe, but our first time in this unit. We will come back but stay in a different unit next time. This unit needs some cleaning. All the bathmats and rugs were extremely dirty, the white couch was dirty. The bathroom doors in the master bedroom are barn doors and would not close. They were very responsive to this and sent maintenance over to fix it. Maintenance was able to temporarily fix one but not the other. And the WiFi was 1990s slow. With no cable tv, we had to stream and could not stream without buffering. TV in the master bedroom is not a smart TV and has no cable-it is hooked to a dvd player which would be the only way to watch tv in there.
All in all, we had a great time, but these are just things to be aware of if booking this unit.
The good points:
View and location is fantastic! It’s on the second floor, so you never have to wait on the elevator. The kitchen is modern and fully stocked with anything you would need (although we didn’t cook). Other than the couch and the rugs, the unit was very clean.

We arrived on Monday and immediately noticed the air conditioning wasn’t working correctly and let the rental company know. Two hours later, we hadn’t heard anything and tried again. It wasn’t until a manager got involved late that evening that a service man arrived and we were moved to another rental. That rental wasn’t available the rest of our stay so we returned to the original rental and we’re told there would be no way to fix the AC on Tuesday, but that it would be fixed Wednesday. The property management company was initially slow to respond but when the management got involved, things were done quickly. We received a refund for a portion of our stay and were really pleased with the location and amenities. Unfortunately the person who checked the rental prior to our arrival should have noticed that it was incredibly hot, the water filter needed replacing in the fridge, there was no coffee pot in the coffee maker, the air vents were all very dusty and needed vacuuming and no trash bags were left for us - we reported the water filter and air vents multiple times but they were never addressed, a brand new coffee maker and pot were delivered to us the day we reported it. All of the rugs in the rental need cleaning and seemed dirty. Another issue is inaccuracies in the guest guidance - the provided bikes were not accessible as described and it took several calls to locate the correct information. Overall, we made the best of our stay but were inconvenienced consistently.
