Waterfront Villa in Ocean City, Walking distance to the beach

Very functional, clean and well-kept condo. Cabinets could use updating—some drawers did not open, others did not close. No potholders or kitchen towels—bring your own. Not a big deal. Comfortable beds and couches. Good layout w/master separated by the living room from my 2 teenage boys. Having w/d in unit was very convenient. Also nice to have was the outdoor seating on patio. An umbrella for the table would be a helpful addition for outdoor dining for those who burn easily (3 gingers in my group!). Indoor pool looked cloudy so we didn't use. Outdoor pool is smallish but clean with lots of loungers. So great to be walking distance to grocery (3 minutes down the dock) and about 7 minute walk to beach. Also 3 minutes to “OC Hopper”—water taxi to points down by boardwalk if you didn't want to drive. Several bars/restaurants within 10 minute walk. It was about 15 minute drive to boardwalk, but many places to shop or eat on the way there. Sunsets by the bay were lovely and sitting by the water with morning coffee was quiet and calming. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place!

The place was great. It was clean, but there were some dust bunnies under some furniture, nothing bad and we've seen worse at other rentals that were managed by the big company in town. It's a little small, but not cramped or uncomfortable by any means, and that's with 3 teen boys. The location to us is perfect. It's located near all our favorite places and the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The few times people nearby were making noise later in the evening, we couldn't hear them unless we were outside and nobody was too loud or anything. Sound carries on the water that's all. The furniture is nice. The kids didn't complain about their beds at all, the master could use a new mattress for next season I'd say but it wasn't terrible. We slept well. I did tell the owner we feel the kitchen could use some add-ons. We cook a lot during the week to save money for activities and the kitchen could use a few small items to make food prep and cooking easier. The owner was really quick to respond, check in was very quick and easy. We'd go back if it's available next time. Oh, the pool has a lifeguard, which is rare, and nice I guess, but for us, we prefer longer pool hours. We like to go for a swim before calling it a night but that's a complex issue, not an owner one. We had a great vacation!
