Simos Camping Elafonisos Tents & Bungalows

The biggest advantage of this campsite is definitely its fantastic location, just a short walk from the stunning Simos Beach, and its affordable price! The campsite has a convenient restaurant serving fairly basic food (fine for an occasional meal, but nothing special), as well as a mini market for everyday essentials. There are also laundry facilities, although they seemed to be constantly in use, making it difficult to find an available machine. We stayed in a glamping bungalow, and while the outdoor area was absolutely lovely, private and perfect for relaxing, the inside was unfortunately less comfortable. For traditional camping or caravans, it seems like a great option, especially considering the location and price! However, we personally wouldn’t repeat the glamping experience, as comfort is important to us and we didn’t feel completely at ease inside the accommodation.

The mattresses and pillows weren’t great, and the overall amenities were just okay.

You could park the car next to accommodation (at a cost)

The squeaky floor and bathroom and bedroom door hit each other. You had to close one door to open the other.
