Villa Apollon

This is a beautiful villa in a great location at a very reasonable price. The big attraction is sunset which can be enjoyed from all of the balconies. The beach is only a ten minute walk away with tavernas, cafes and a supermarket nearby. You must go to the Vanilla Beach Bar for sundowner cocktails! The three bedrooms are good size and comfortable and the two bathrooms are nice as well. The kitchen and living areas are well equipped. The outside space is lovely; the pool is quite small but perfect for a refreshing dip for the family and very clean. All round, the villa was spotless and it was a bonus that it was cleaned for us every few days with sheets and towels changed. Dimitris is a very pleasant host but doesn't bother you unless you need something. We were so happy with our choice for a two week holiday (we are a family of four with kids aged 13 and 17) and we would highly recommend this property. A car is advisable to visit Chania, Rethymno for sightseeing and to take advantage of the numerous beautiful other beaches and attractions in the area.

The location is perfectly positioned to visit the big cities, famous beaches, while offering a quite, less crowded environment if families want to stay in Sfakaki. The view is stunning from house, the pool is great, rooms are comfortable and well separated. Very nice overall.

There was nothing that we did not like about the property. Perfect for families or group of friends to stay at.

The view was outstanding from every window. The sunsets were beautiful. The beds are comfy. Very clean. Everything you need for your stay.

The bathrooms are very dated. There was nowhere to rest the shower head in order to have a shower. The pool area needs a bit of work, the pump on the pool was very nosy. The manager/owner lives under the villa in a self contained apartment which made it feel less private. They have two dogs that come around the outside area, however they were very cute and friendly.

It was comfortable with a very nice view on the sea. Although the pool is not that big we enjoyed taking a swim during the day in order to cool off..

getting up that steep hill with the car and by feet, but after a couple of times you get used to that :-)
