Beachfront Condo in Bucearías

Alex, the property manager met us at the condo. He's very nice and walked us through everything. There is also a 24 hour guard at the gate who was also very helpful (three guards rotating shifts). The property is well cared for, the pool is exceptionally clean, the property has a small beach out front and you can access the ocean. The tides will limit your access, so pay attention to them. The unit itself is very nice, just like the photos. Almost everything is provided for your stay. Bed is very comfortable. Patio is exceptional, and the views are amazing! All AC units are in working condition. I used the gym a couple of times during our stay, it's very nice, everything seems in working order. There are always plenty of chairs at the pool...no fighting for loungers. we loved staying in the Bucerias area, I would definitely come here again. We also found this little beach town completely safe and very friendly. We actually loved staying in the Bucerias area! It was great. Excellent restaurants in Bucerias. All in all, it was a very good stay and we'd recommend it!

Look at the date of my review. There is LOUD construction going on immediately next door (literally 8 inches from the patio). They work all hours--from 7:30 or so in the morning until 6:30 at night. It is LOUD and disruptive. The 24 hour security access gate can be a pain. If the guard is on his rounds, you simply need to wait to be let in or let out. Yes, you will be "locked in" so to speak if there is no guard present. Keep this in mind. We didn't have a car, so we would use Uber and if we couldn't get out, Uber driver had to wait OR, you have to only call for a ride once outside the building so you don't keep the driver waiting. The condo is really only within reasonable walking distance to "Baklava" restaurant which is just a short 3-5 minutes walk from the beach (again--high tide will prevent a safe passage!) everything else is quite a hike along the beach. Twice my husband and I walked the entire distance from the condo to downtown Bucerias. It takes about 45-50 minutes and is about 1.6 miles away. If you do this make sure it's low tide--high tide will make access difficult. It would be nice if the unit had a washer and dryer. Nothing dries due to the humidity, and our bathing suits really could have used a dryer. Also, if the owner would like a little constructive feedback?: it really would be great to have papertowels and clean sink sponge upon arrival. An extra garbage bag too. In fact, it would be nice to have access to cleaning supplies. we would have cleaned up after ourselves if this were provided, but they weren't.

Beautiful property, exactly like the photos and description. Lots of room with beautiful views and great pools. Condo was very well equipped with everything needed to cook meals. Administrative staff were excellent, top marks to Fernando and Pepe. Would definitely return as this property was excellent value.

All good for us, however, the property is at the far north end of Bucerias and may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
