Availability of a pool and washing machine. TV with instructions was great had most things we needed.

Not loads of kitchen stuff (crockery etc) but we only cooked once so managed. Slightly further away from central hub which meant we got exercise to burn off the pizza and pasta but very near train station and supermarket.

Great location. Fantastic hosts. Lovely little added touches.

Great location - near train and bus, 15 -20 minutes walking to a port, near restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket and stores.

Pros: The central location of the apartment in Sorrento was the one real advantage. Being right in the heart of the city made it easy to get around, and we enjoyed being so close to some truly great restaurants and charming local spots.

Cons: The apartment itself was horrendous. The main bathroom had mould in the shower, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The second shower didn’t work at all the showerhead was spluttering water at all angles making it impossible to use and shower, leaving us quite inconvenienced, especially since we were a family of 4 staying for more than a week. The host, Antonello, believed he was going above and beyond for us, but that simply wasn’t the case. Even when we asked for more toilet paper, we were handed just two extra rolls and told that he was doing us a favour. This really set the tone for the lack of care and attention we experienced. I expect the host to rebuttal all of the above and come back with an angry response as he has done the previous reviews that complained about the eaxct same things I have mentioned above. I genuinely love Sorrento, it’s a stunning place with so much to offer, but I would never stay at Antonello’s apartment again. I’ve come to realise that my standards for hospitality and cleanliness are higher than what was provided, and when booking a holiday home, I expect at least the basics to be met. And yes, he did give us a leaving present of lemonchello we did not want nor drink but gave it to our driver. Yes he did help me arrange a taxi in the middle of the week to collect ny little brother from the airport which was a big help however he owns a holiday home he should go over and beyond and not do the the bare minimum that one expects.
