Kihei Akahi is a well-run, well-maintained facility showcasing vivid florae, immaculate landscaping, and wonderful amenities including:
• Two beautiful pools, each ranging in depth from 3' to 8';
• Two lounge areas, each with its own restroom facility;
• Four commercial-grade gas BBQs;
• Tennis/pickleball court;
• Free Wi-Fi at both pools.
We are located on the third level of Kihei Akahi’s quiet, desirable, ‘D’ building away from the hum of South Kihei Road yet still an easy five-minute stroll to Kamaole 2 – one of Maui’s best beaches (the beach chairs are waiting for you in the condo). Our lanai offers a grand panoramic view stretching southwest to northwest. Wine & Dine with a loved one while admiring the scenic beauty. Romantic perfection!
The Kihei area features a variety of fun-filled activities such as snorkeling, surfing lessons, luaus, and lazy days on the beach, just to name a few. What's more, Kihei Akahi truly is the center of it all with preeminent beaches, wonderful restaurants, world-class golf, and shopping all close by.
Read by the pool; take a leisurely walk on the beach; feel the warm afternoon trade wind caress your hair; let the surf catch you without a care - it's all good. Later, be wowed by the extraordinary sunset over the Pacific. Every evening offers a unique show. By the way, don’t forget to do a little star-gazing – both kinds are brilliant on Maui!

The property was nice and conveniently located, but we were disappointed to find the sink cabinets for the kitchen and bathroom were falling off the hinges. The A/C unit didn’t cool very well.

Loved the location of this condo. Right across from the beach and next to several places to eat. The condo was really nice and had so many beach accessories ready for us to use. The only downside was the AC unit only being in the living room and not the bedroom, which got quite hot. Wonderful stay overall :)

Just returned from one week stay - family of three. Great location, walkable to beach and local restaurants. Easy to communicate with on-site office. Very clean and well laid out - looks exactly like the pictures online. There is ONE item that renters should be aware of - the air conditioning situation. The master bedroom has none and relies simply on a ceiling fan. We tried every night to get cooler air from the living room into the bedroom with a tower fan but to no luck. Instead our six year old son ended up freezing in full air conditioning on the pullout every night while we were in the overheated bedroom. If long active days in the sun make you crave a cool nights sleep in air conditioning this is not the place. If you don’t mind sleeping with just a ceiling fan, the rental is great.
