About this house rental
Stunning lakefront home is an amazing hideaway from the hustle and bustle. Located on a quiet cove off of the main body, your views of sunrises are amazing! 3 miles from downtown Granbury, you are away from it all yet a short ride to shopping, dining and the Granbury town square. Go for a kayak trip-- there are plenty of wetlands and a small island to explore. 5 single kayaks and one double. Sit on the porch and sip some coffee or a cocktail, there are plenty of fans to keep you comfy in the summer. Hot tub new this year!Read in the deep library chairs with a lake view! Tons of board games. Huge table seats 10, excellent for art retreats or large dinners! Lots of seating and plenty of room to spread out. Water is around 7 feet deep at the end of the dock, so last one in is a rotten egg! Speaking of rotten eggs, this entire area is serviced by well water and house water can have a sulphur smell. All measures taken to lessen it with various water treatments, but it can still be noticeable! Kitchen with all amenities, 12 cup coffee pot, Keurig, espresso maker, electric griddle, blender, full use of french door refrigerator and more. Amazing master bathroom shower lends a true spa like atmosphere. Pack n'play for infants or small children, kids utensils,toys and coloring books to keep them busy! 5 kayaks are provided along with multiple sizes of life jackets. Bring your own floats and sit out in the water all day! Truly a paradise here in Texas. Close to DFW, less than an hour from Fort Worth and so many other day trip destinations such as Glen Rose and Waco. Good fishing off of the dock so bring your poles. Boat launch is a 30 second drive if you bring your boat or jet skis! Local grocery at the end of the road for last minute shopping. This is a great place to stay for a large group. Plenty of room, kayaks were enjoyed by all, floated by dock for hours. Great response time from property owners to address questions.

This was a great home for a three-generation family. Adults enjoyed the deck and view, and everyone enjoyed fishing, swimming, and kayaking off the dock. The kitchen and grill were perfectly equipped to cook family meals. All the bedrooms were comfortable with spacious bathrooms, and plenty of towels for all. Checkin and checkout information was clear to follow. It was a great stay for a family and we’d be happy to return!

We loved our stay at Sunrise Bay Hideaway. Check-in could not have been easier. The rooms were exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable with lots of extra duvets and throws for warmth. The kitchen is well stocked with paper products, cleaning supplies, dishes, glasses, silverware, and pots and pans. The back deck is wonderful for sitting around the fire table and looking at the lake--even when it is cold and rainy. The town square of Granbury is quaint with fun boutiques and restaurants. Grocery stores are easy to get to and in plentiful supply. We hosted Thanksgiving for extended family, and the kitchen and dining space were ample. It was a wonderful spot for Thanksgiving week. We can't wait to go back!
