About this cabin rental
License # 011332 Four Friends' Cabin is a work of the heart. God led four friends to buy this cabin during December 2020. It just happened! Now we want to share our blessing with you so it can be your home away from home too!
The inside has been totally renovated, fresh paint throughout, brand new furniture throughout, brand new bedding, mattresses, new floors in bathrooms and bedrooms on main and upper floor. The master has a king log bed, The main floor has a queen bed. The downstairs is an unfinished basement but clean, every inch freshly painted and provides extra space for overflow sleeping in the Cubs' Den. The Cubs' Den has two double beds within. (See pics) The basement also provides ping pong and a separate hang out space for the kids or even another family unit. It's NOT finished, but it's on the way. We have a smart TV in the main room and one with ROKU in the "Cubs' Den" downstairs. We have free wifi for all and plan to set up a projector downstairs in our next visit.
We are near just about everything you can imagine! Love our location, it's the perfect hub! We are in north GA, almost 2 hours north of Atlanta. We are 20-35 minutes to Helen, GA, Murphy NC, Blue Ridge, GA and Tennessee. Smack dab in the middle of everything. You feel like you're in the mountains on our block, but only about 10 miles to downtown convenience; Walmart, Ingles, Home Depot and only 2 miles from Lake Nottely if you love the water in the summer like we do!
There's local hiking on the Appalachian Trail, Vogal State Park, nearby waterfalls; Helton Creek Falls and DeSoto Falls, zip lines in both Blue Ridge and Helen, GA, fly fishing, trout fishing, and water tubing/rafting on The Toccoma River from our cabin. There's Rollin Thunder River Company Ocoee Rafting and Toccoa River Tubing to choose from, let us know which is best, we've yet to go! There's even Lasso the Moon Alpaca Farm, Cabbage Patch Doll General Hospital, helicopter rides and a Casino not far away if you have a traveler that wants to do more than just hiking with you! If you look through the woods in the backyard, you can almost see the semi private Old Union Golf course, so bring your clubs if you are a golfer.

The cabin was perfect for our family getaway. It was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The ping pong table was perfect for my teens and the hot tub topped it all off! Thank you Four Friends!

Great place, everything was as advertised. Excellent communication from the host throughout the trip. Convenient location close enough to town to get what you forgot, but secluded enough to just sit and relax in peace. Cabin had great amenities, all beds were comfortable and everything worked as expected. Great stay making memories. Would definitely stay again in the future.

The house is comfortable and gorgeous. However, we accidently pull the screen door to open the door and do not hit the baby when it bounces back and we pull it a bit hard than mormal and the screw from the top pull out which holds the screen door shut. We tried to put the screw back in but we didn't took any tools withbus on the trip. We accepted responsability for the door once mentioned by the owners and everything was good but then they charge us for an extra cleaning because we had extra waste on the garbage bins outside the house and because the cleaning crew had to wash more linens than they anticipated. Although it was only $40, it was the fact that they were charging not because we left the house dirty but because we used more linens and more garbage bags?????? I mean.. crazy!!! After that they blame me for taking 1 linen with me according to their cleaning crew. Which I don't think I will drive 12 hours from Miami to Brairsville and paid $1200 to steal a sheet. I was very upset and make all the stay a disappointed place to stay. I will definitely do not stay there again. We used the sheets that were available on the first place in accordance to the 3 degrees F that was on Christmas. Also the garbage was in accordance with the food we took because of christmas and presents we had for each other. Plus the basement has a little heater that definitely will not warm you at all. But I will never have mentioned it until they practically tell me that I was a burglar. I was very disapointed because the house was left entirely how we got it for the exception of the screen door which we were fully responsabible and we were going to asume it with the insurance. Not right! 1st bad review in so many years and places. Just fyi.. I did pay the extra money so I will just left this bad moment on the past and they don't text back asking for the money.
