About this apartment rental
Summary:
Just a short walk across the street and you will be on the white sandy beach. This condo has a private screened in lanai which is great for relaxing while overlooking the pond, lighted fountain, and heated pool. The master bedroom has a king bed and en suite which includes double vanities, a walk-in shower and garden soaking tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom offers two twin beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests.
The Space:
This is our personal second home that we share with others when we aren't able to use it. As such we hope you find it comfortable and accommodating! You can count on a clean and tidy home with all the amenities covered. If you have any special needs or requests please let us know and we will try to make it happen. Upon booking you will receive additional detail with all that is included in the home and the outline of house rules with check in/out procedures. Public beach access is just across the street and we have all the essentials for a fun day. If your vehicle is 4 wheel drive you can drive on the beach.
Guest Access:
You'll have the entire condo to yourself...it's around 1500 sq ft. The screened porch is 12x8 and over looks the pond with a lit fountain...very peaceful. There is a heated community pool and fitness center that you have access to also.
The Neighborhood:
This is a gated condo community that is comprised of primary and secondary homes with a fair number of units being shared as short term rentals. The location is excellent as it's just across from the pier and public beach access and walking distance to some of the best restaurants arounds.

So close to the beach, very clean and well equipped kitchen. Owners were very communicative and always helpful. Highly recommend

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Fun in the Sun. There were 6 ladies ranging from 23-59 in age. We all felt there was plenty of room. We enjoyed the connivance to the pool and the beach was across the street. Note: you do have to go up and down stairs to get onto the beach.
Access to the condo is easy with the 4 digit code. Upon arrival the condo was not as clean as we would have liked and I did contact the owner. Robert offered to have the cleaning crew return, but we chose to just do it ourselves since we were already settled in. (Reason for the 4 star) and the back patio was a mess and in need of some items to be replaced. Again, I made the owner aware and it did not dampen our trip in the least. He said they would be replacing items in July. I don’t fault the cleanliness in between rental on the owner but on the crew who apparently were in a hurry. But like I said, the owner offered to make it right. That says a lot.
There are several restaurants within walking distance. Salt Life was a favorite. Downtown St Augustine is a quick 10 min drive. We would stay here again in the future.

The property was exactly as described. The host was easy to communicate with and made us feel at home. It was perfect setting, close to restaurants, shops, beach and grocery store. We had the best time resting and relaxing in this roomy and homey condo. Neat and clean with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It was truly a magical time for much needed cousin trip after a very festive wedding trip. We would stay here every time. We were grateful for such a wonderful host and experience.
