Very nice attached mother-in-law suite completely segregated from main house with separate entrance, bathroom, kitchen etc.
This property is just before the North/Elm Lane entrance to the world famous Chautauqua Institution! As a guest you will have all the convenience of being just 25 steps to the North gate and a trolley/bus stop picking up every 15 minutes or short 5-minute walk to the heart of the Institution!
At the same time, you're not required to have a full day pass unless you want to pay for it! Pick and choose your times and days according to your schedule and desired activities as opposed to being required to have a pass just to get to your place of stay! Large yard with multiple sitting areas and ample parking included!

This place is fantastic!! Especially if you are looking to enjoy all that Chautauqua County offers, including Chautauqua Institution. The house is steps outside of the Elm Gate and a short walk to the North Bus stop. The unit was clean, well furnished, and well stocked with linens and kitchen needs. Truly a home away from home. Scott is a great host—very accessible and responsive. We hope to stay here again!

When it comes to weekly rentals in Chautauqua, they can be very, very expensive. For about half the price and twice the space, this property is a perfect way to experience Chautauqua affordably and comfortably. It's located right outside the North Gate (Elm Gate), so it's not centrally located inside the grounds, but it only takes about 10-12 minutes to walk to Bestor Plaza. Nicely appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality, Scott!
