About this house rental
Have you always wanted to stay in an A frame home next to the beach? Well come stay with us on A street! Our unique showstopper is a couple of blocks from St. Augustine Beach. It sleeps four adults comfortably with one queen sized bed in the downstairs bedroom+ one full sized bed upstairs in the loft. The bathroom is located on the first floor. Whether you want to walk or bike to restaurants, the beach + shops, we are just a few minutes away! It’s a short drive to the most popular places to see like the Alligator Farm, historic lighthouse, amphitheater, and historic Downtown.

Everything was as described and easy. Very relaxing and a great location; quiet but close enough to the beach and restaurants. Cons: the beds could have been bigger and longer and the couch could have been a bit more suited for stretching out and lounging after the walk from the beach. However, 5 stars.

Wonderful location, well furnished, and convenient to the entire area, you'll be sure to enjoy your stay at the A. Bonus private backyard with plenty of seating for relaxing in when you're not out and about. Easy access to the beach and restaurants down A street, as well as just minutes from St. Augustine Amphitheatre and downtown via the A1A. Owner was prompt and helpful throughout the process. We'll be back!

Cute, I guess but a very odd home, an A-frame on a semi-busy beach community road. Noise level was HIGH in the morning.
My first VRBO rental, I am 1000% shocked by the add-on fees (cleaning fee and a mandatory insurance fee, or HUGE deposit)
Furniture? OMG. the most uncomfortable sofa in the world, two side chairs with zero support. Oh.. a cheap cheap coffee table from another yard sale. Had to be a yard sale purchase or something in the garage since 1972. BUTT UGLY and no comfort.
The two queen beds are probably the cheapest that American Frieght has to offer, paper thin (1) sheet and a crummy bedspread from 1970? It was the most uncomfortable either of us has had in 2022. My girlfriend isn't prone to complaints, I'm telling you I heard that all the way home. Over and Over. and over
Overall.. it was clean, I left it just as clean. large cleaning fee? BS
The back patio area needs some weedwhakcing and the front gate was broken/wood rotted/ and just left in position to fall on us. Confirmed by the owner that they knew about the condition. Seriously, the 35 pound rotted wood gate fell on my girlfriend at 10PM in the dark as we tried to enter a totally dark rental. Scared the hell out of her. I'm happy she didn't get hurt.
If I had it to do over? NO.. I would not choose this place. Way too expensive for the space and the add-on fees are a crying shame. Looks like they learned the same bad lessons that the airlines did... extra fees to add to their bottom line.
Check in process? Paid in advance and no possiblily to cancel I received the code about one hour before checkin time. Maybe that's standard but it sure did add to my negative feelings.
Overall. NO I do not recommend this odd little home. It was clean but there is NO comfort provided and a ripoff in price (add on fees too)
