We are just 2 miles from Pactola lake, located along Hwy 385, pavement the entire way with only a short gravel drive to the cabins.

Our cabins are modern and have tasteful finishes. Decorated in the genre of wildlife, Black Hills history and Native American traditions of the local area. We have used locally sourced materials in our building as well as highlighting local artists in our decor. Each master bed is covered with an authentic handmade Native American star quilt. All cabins have heating and air conditioning.

As you sit out and enjoy the campfire, you can see the stars with no light pollution. Depending on the time of year you can hear the owls calling to one another, hear the singing of the coyotes, the bugling of the elk, or listen to the turkey as they get ready to roost. What a fantastic find. We go to the Black Hills fairly often for a get away and this is the best small cabin we've found. It was INCREDIBLY clean (the top thing we care about). We actually thought it was brand new and we were surprised to learn it was a few years old. It was also well appointed with anything you might need for your stay. Everything about the property is very well maintained. And the best part? Sarah and Albert, the owners. Their house/homestead is right on the property and they raise free range chickens, ducks, rabbits, cows, goats, and more. They were more than generous to show us around and explain how they make almost all of their own food and live off the land. Their goats and chickens were regular visitors to our cabin which we found really fun. They let us help bottle feed some new calves and we learned so much about food production. We are already talking about if we can squeeze in another weekend this summer. Without a doubt we will stay here again!

This cute little cabin is nestled in the Black Hills, in a great location! It had everything we needed (except maybe area rugs because we visited in February, and the tile floors were COLD)! We loved that we could stay in or head out for adventures outside or in a town just a short, windy-roaded drive away Would recommend and would love to visit again with our family this summer!
