I have stayed here many times and it is always clean and peaceful. The host Laura always responds and is very nice. I would recommend this place and the Runestone park is great and awesome hiking trails are only a 2 min walk away

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days and had the most relaxing time. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning and loved being so close to some trails. The scenery is gorgeous and it’s very quiet. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you could need and it’s very comfortable. Check in and out instructions were simple & clear.

We were in town visiting friends 10 miles away. It was the perfect location. The cabin is well stocked, organized and wonderfully located. Our first night we had our trailer and truck. The parking area fit them well. Our host had a lot of thoughtful necessities available in the cabin. We will book again when we travel to the area.

A luxury cabin in the mountains with all the comforts of home and a great view to boot! A great place to hide away, unplug and chill for a few days. Everything about this property is neat, orderly, in good repair and downright charming with all the special touches the owner has created and placed there for your enjoyment.. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to vacation in this part of Southeastern Oklahoma. Lots to see and do in the area to keep you blissfully occupied for days.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin has a great view of the valley below. Everything you need is a short drive down to the town of Heavener. There is a lot of nice hikes around and many lakes to enjoy. Also, the Ruin stone is a short walk from the cabine. The porch is great for sunset watching and sipping coffee at breakfast.

Property was easy to find w/Laura instructions. (Google was not cooperating)Cabin was clean and cozy. Views of mountains in the distance and the town below were picturesque. Bathtub was great for a lovely soak after a day of sightseeing. Runestone area was cool. Sterling in the giftshop was friendly. Only dislike was the frequent train horn breaking up the peacefulness.

We had a nice stay at Runestone Hideaway. We were in OK visiting family so we weren't really at the cabin much so I am disappointed that we didn't get to explore the area and relax much. I would definitely recommend a stay at Runestone Hideaway! We were a family of 3 and though it is only a one bedroom, it had just enough space for us and our two small dogs.

Upon arrival the scenery was gorgeous!!!! We had so much fun exploring different trails including the one that leads from Runestone park all the way to the cabin!! Laura had everything you could possibly need as far as amenities go. The place was so clean and cozy! I would definitely come back here often! Thank you so much!

Laura did such a fantastic, thoughtful job as host. I've never had so many amenities during a weekend getaway by a host: there was everything you could need for the stay, and the property itself was exactly the private area we needed. This was my first Vrbo experience, and Laura set the bar very high for any future stays elsewhere.

Upon arrival I was very impressed with how clean the cabin was. What impressed me the most was how much thought went into stocking all the items you might need for your stay. It didn't matter if I needed a sewing kit to repair a button or a portable fan to cool off with it was there. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and learning experience from Runestone Park was just icing on top.

Very nice and well kept place. Loved the view on the back porch, sunset was beautiful setting over Heavener below. Very quiet. Plenty of hiking in the nearby areas with some breathtaking views.

Cabin 1 is a quaint, quiet cabin in a beautiful area with an amazing view. The property manager communicates promptly. There is no Internet and only a few television channels, but this is good for those who want to unplug. Be sure to visit the Heavener Rhunestone Park and hike 200 steps to the Rhunestone. Very comforable cabin.

This property is a true hidden jem. The property sets just far enough of town that it is relaxing and quiet but close enough you can still buy supplies if you forget something. We HIGHLY recommend! We can't wait to stay again.
