Beautiful and clean cottage. Suggestions: Need full length mirror somewhere inside and also a mirror in each bedroom. Need more toilet paper (we ran out and had to buy more!) Need umbrella on back deck for shade and more bath towels and instructions for checkout. Host was kind and brought us firewood last night and turned on outside lights.

This was a wonderful property. It has an out in the country feel but, you are just 6 minutes from town. It is very clean, well appointed, bigger than it looks from the outside and the beds were very comfortable. There was even a beautiful bird nesting in the window box with 5 tiny eggs that hatched during our stay. It was perfect. We cant wait to come back.

I had to find lodging last minute because vrbo booked a property that owner said was not available, and charged me. I had to argue with owner who thought I was scamming him. You guys will never get business from me and I’ll take every opportunity to tell others. You were unavailable for assistance and when I finally got hold of owner they were rude and told me to contact vrbo.

Deer Brook Cottage was home away from home. The living space is large and airy. The kitchen is modern and sleek. The back deck is lovely. The fireflies were out each night at dusk. Our dogs loved the large yard. The owner was friendly, responsive and kind when we had a problem. The water was perfect and all the faucets, the dishwasher, washer, coffee maker worked well. We hope to come back to this sweet spot in southern Ohio!

This Host double booked, cancelled on us less than 24 hours before, offered us a booking at his more expensive property for an upcharge of course. He first blamed VRBO for the mistake and then implied it was our fault somehow. It was impossible to find another vrbo property that quickly and almost impossible to find anyplace to stay that weekend. BEWARE. he is shady and rude.

We had a group of 3 and 2 dogs staying for an event at the Roberts Centre, which was less than a 10 minute drive from this location. The house is very roomy, with lots of area for 3 people to spread out and the property also had a lot of room as well for us to walk the dogs. The house was really clean and had all the amenities you'd want in a rental - comfy beds, Keurig, satellite TV, easy to find wifi info, fire pit, cool a/c for a hot summer day. It's also less than 10 minutes from the Kroger and Starbucks and some restaurants, so it's a good location. The hosts were also very nice and communicative and available if you needed anything. It also seems like they just generally maintain the property well as someone stopped by to mow while we were there, someone stopped by to take out the trash cans, etc.

This was a perfect place for our dogs and us for a dog show at the Roberts center . Very private , peaceful , plenty of room to walk the dogs , a short 10 minute country drive to the Roberts center and less than 15 minutes to 2 grocery stores and a national pharmacy chain .

House was situated in a beautiful country setting with gorgeous views. It is a nicely renovated older farmhouse. However, in particular the bedding was not clean and had hair in the sheets and pet hair all over the comforters. We had to wash sheets before we could sleep in them. The showers both had hair in them. The master bath sink had hair and was not really useable due to lack of water pressure. The water also had a strong sulfur smell. Kitchen floors needed cleaning and stove was greasy :(

Came down to Wilmington to watch vollege baseball against Baldwin Wallacewith a few friends- 30 degrees and snow -- no baseball Ended up hanging at house watching sweet 16 basketball.House is much more spacious then it looks-- everything was great -- would definitely stay again .
