Convenient 3-minute drive or 15-minute walk to main street and Mirror Lake and 5-minute drive to the grocery store. Bedrooms each have their own closet, luggage rack, and alarm clock with usb ports. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other is a full-sized bed. The couch pulls out into a queen-sized bed. There is also a pack-n-play that awaits for children two and under. Kitchen is newly updated with a stainless-steel stove, fridge, microwave, and a Keurig (coffee, tea, and hot chocolate) or warm the local cuisine left over from one of the many dining options available in the area. A kitchen table can be used for dining or conveniently as a workstation using wireless internet and a comfortable couch and chairs. For and after dinner, hang out around outdoor fireplace enjoying s'mores, playing games, or access the Roku TV inside that allows you to log into various apps (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime or cable). Mikaela is a great host - who makes you feel super welcome. Her home is very clean, with thoughtful accessories (deck chairs, coffee, lots of towels, etc). About a 10-15 min walk to centre of town. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay here. The lodging was very clean and has been beautifully decorated and renovated. All of the amenities we needed were readily available. Location was fantastic, within walking distance of Main St. in Lake Placid and driving distance to many trailheads for hiking. The patio and outdoor fireplace were a bonus. Mikaela was an excellent host, checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
