About this apartment rental

Two bedroom/two bathroom (renovated bathrooms and master bedroom completed December '25) end unit located just off Mountain Road (first building at Mountainside resort condos) with plenty of parking. Hypoallergenic dogs OK with approval. Walk to the Stowe Recreation Path, the Alchemist, and many restaurants. Ten minutes to skiing. Master bedroom has a queen bed and brand new master bathroom. Second bedroom with two twin beds, and a second brand new bathroom. Nicely furnished with character. Great open space living room, dining room and updated kitchen with a see-through gas fireplace. Includes a washer and dryer. This condo is part of a two-story, six-unit building within Mountainside and is on the first floor, one flight of stairs down from the entrance.

This condo is in one of the three newer Mountainside buildings. Enjoy skiing, mountain biking, a stroll or bike on the Rec Path, and all Stowe has to offer! Walk-out to your private deck and lawn with fabulous views of the Worcester range. Private entry with lockable ski locker and comfortable place to sit and remove boots or shoes. Mountain bike storage available. On-site indoor pool and hot tub, exercise room, tennis courts (with Pickleball lines), and playground. Short 10 minutes door to door to Stowe Mountain Resort or a short walk to the bus route, but we recommend a car to explore all that Stowe has to offer. Half-mile to Pinnacle Sports to rent mountain bikes. The Alchemist brewery (Heady Topper beer fame), Stowe Farmers Market, Piecasso, Idletyme (brewery and eatery), Edelweiss deli and store, PK Coffee, and the State Liquor Outlet are all a short walk away. Come enjoy Stowe!! Note: Mountainside Resort has issued a do-not-drink water mandate due to a single PFAS reading over recommended levels in 2024. The owner has proactively addressed this issue by installing PFAS filters on all sinks. Water is also available at the Mountainside office and pool area. Mountainside is in the process of hooking up to town water with completion Spring 2026.

Wonderful and considerate host and excellent property! Unit is very clean, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, good lighting and stable temperature throughout all spaces - everything was as described. We especially appreciated that the host has stocked the unit so it’s like you’re staying at a friend’s place (not a bare condo) with toiletries, cooking utensils and appliances, spices, etc. Host made our visit easy and enjoyable - we look forward to staying again next time we’re in Stowe!

The condo was a comfortable, well maintained place to stay for our family of 3 and had a great location for a getaway mostly centered around biking/hiking. It was easy to roll out the door to endless low-traffic roads, trails and the Stowe rec path (accessible a short distance away). We appreciated receiving lots of helpful info from the owners as well, both in the form of a comprehensive binder, and in "how to" notes in the condo for those things that never work quite the same as what you are used to at home (remotes for one!). Views were lovely as stated, too. Also must mention big appreciation for how Deb and Phil responded to the one issue we did have. Through no fault of theirs, we were caught up in a major leak when a pipe burst in an upstairs unit. As soon as they were aware, Deb and Phil immediately made it a priority to address the issue. And when it became clear it was going to take some time to get everything dried out, they did not hesitate to offer us an alternative place to stay for our remaining nights. In the end, our expectations for a positive resolution we exceeded, and it was clear the owners were committed to ensuring we had the best possible experience.

Our unit was basically a basement unit, though on the "first floor". It smelled musty but was very clean. We called the manager due to loud neighbors/kids above us and she called that owner but the noise continue ued for 2 days. She did her best.
