About this cottage rental
This beautiful, quaint cottage-style home is located 25 minutes from La Fortuna offering tranquility and privacy away from hustle and bustle. It sits on a vast property that overlooks well-maintained gardens, exotic trees and a pristine river. It’s perfect for birdwatchers, photographers and those who would like to vacation with independence, privacy and tranquility of nature. Some of our favourite parts about our home is watching the toucans forage for food in the morning.

Aillem was very welcoming, very knowledge about the area, and gave us suggestions on where locals shop. She also helped us order our first pizza dinner that was delivered. It was delicious! This was a huge help traveling with young children (6 & 8 years old)We got to admire her gardens, saw toucans off the deck.We would definitely stay with Aillem again!

If you are looking for something beautiful off the beaten path! This is your place. Our family of 5 loved it. Only about 20 minutes from all the tourist attractions. I would recommend eating at one of the many Sodas on your way back from La Fortuna. Also plenty of places to get groceries. Thank you so much for having us.

Our second visit to this cabin, we like that it is outside La Fortuna, quiet, and clean. It is a beautiful property with a great onsite grounds keeper, our friend, Efrain, who was another reason for our return. We enjoyed coffee and birdwatching from the back porch.
