About this house rental
Nice and modern townhouse conveniently located in the heart of Montrose, adjacent to Midtown, close to Downtown and to the Medical Center.
The house has 3 bedrooms, with 1 king and 2 queen beds, and each has its own desk and an attached bathroom.
The street itself is very quiet and within blocks from restaurants, bars, public transit, and shopping. Montrose is the trendiest Houston neighborhood.
The METRO line is only a 15 mn walk away and will take you directly to the NRG stadium or downtown.
The space
The house is a 3-story free-standing townhouse.
There is one queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, another queen bed in one bedroom upstairs and one king bed in the second upstairs bedroom. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. There is a half bathroom on second floor.
The rooftop with a view of downtown is very pleasant too.
Work-from-home ready: Each room has its own dedicated workstation. One of the rooms is a fully equipped workstation: extra screen, keyboard, mouse, wrist pads, stand-up desk, and even a rest pad! Download speed is at 1000 MB/s, so you don't have to worry about the internet slowing down during video calls.
You are welcome to cook over. There is free coffee as well.
There is a washer and dryer you can use too.
You can use my Netflix account or the Wii. Goes well with the built-in speakers!

Superficially the place seems nice but quite a few things were not in working order. The keypad to enter did not work so we had a hard time entering the house to initially enter. We told the property manager and she claimed someone would come fix it and never did. Quite a few light bulbs were out. Someone did come over and count what were out but never came to replace. We replace one ourselves because there was no light in bathroom and the management was supposed to reimburse but never did. Light bulb cost 20 because it was discontinued. Rather than replace all bathroom lights with a new fixtures they are letting the existing bulbs burn out which will continue to erode the available light over time. Finally, the Apple TV remote was wearing out and continually malfunctioned making TV viewing a challenge at times. But it was spacious and a good location in mid-town.
