We enjoyed our stay very much. The highlight of this property was the outdoor space, which was beautifully furnished and a perfect place to have breakfast and spend time reading. The cottage itself was well thought out, with lots of details we liked - particularly the Keurig coffee maker with a large variety of pod options. We could have used a bit more storage space for our two overnight bags. There didn’t seem to be anywhere to set up the one luggage rack provided, and the drawers and shelves were filled with extra bedding. However, the neighborhood was very quiet, and Sue, our host, was friendly and responsive, but unobtrusive. We felt a sense of complete privacy, which was lovely. It was a very comfortable place to spend four nights.

Sweet location in a charming neighborhood close to downtown Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare festival. Welcoming host, accommodating and fascinating back story. Check out the books she has left in the room for a wonderful surprise. We highly recommend it.

We sat out in the very private patio almost every day. The room is small but perfectly adequate for my sister and me. We walked the one mile to the OSF theaters each day and the area is quite historical with interesting houses. We always cook our own meals and the kitchen had a great full size refrigerator, (very few BnBs have a full size refrigerator) and a two burner cook top and a microwave. Be sure to read Sue's book, The Station Masters Wife. Then go find her house.
