Luxury at the mountain! Amazing location just steps to the slopes and town!

We really liked staying here. Everything is nice, from the big stuff (couch, TV, beds) all the way down to the little things (cutlery, wine glasses). They paid attention to the details and it mattered in our experience. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, clean and conveniently located codo. The host is extremely responsive. We will absolutely stay again.

This place was clean and spacious and lovely. Great location and amenities for everyone. My family of four had a great time. The bunk beds in the living room was slightly odd and made it hard to hang out after kids’ bedtime but we still enjoyed ourselves very much.

We stayed several days at the Golden Poles Chalet, over the weekend of 9th of July. This property would have gotten 5 stars across the board if it weren't for a couple of issues. First the pros: - fantastic location! We would give the location a 6 if possible. Just up the road from the main area of Govt Camp, and right at the base of Ski Bowl. - the owner was super responsive, and extremely helpful with any and all questions we had. - The owner extended our checkout time from 11am to 1pm, to accommodate a ski clinic I was attending. We really appreciated that. - the condo is wonderfully adorned, - all rooms, bathrooms, kitchen were very clean. - the condo had all the amenities you could ask for and more! - the condo is very spacious, and the kitchen has everything you need for a long stay. - the owner has directions listed throughout, which helps not only during the stay, but also at checkout time. - the deck/patio is great for an afternoon sit in the sun. Now to the Cons: - be aware, the walls are a little thin. The people above us did not take noise policy seriously, and the stomping about throughout the day, and at 2am was a bit disturbing to say the least. - one of the main draws for us when booking this property was the availability of a pool. We even went so far as to confirm, beforehand, that the pool would in fact be available during our stay. It was one of THE main factors in our final decision to book this property. When we arrived on Thursday the pool was closed "until further notice". The Health Dept had closed the pool area the Tuesday prior because the railing around the pool area wasn't high enough (code violation). When we notified the owner, she was unaware of the situation. We later asked the owner for a partial refund, and we were offered a $100 refund. While the refund was appreciated, we felt it really wasn't compensatory for the lack of use of the pool facilities. To be fair, this situation was completely beyond the control of the owner. There wasn't anything that could be done on the owners part to prevent what happened, but its a reflection in our overall rating. The Cons aside, this property is wonderful, and the property owner extremely friendly, and responsive. In the winter months this property would be a must-book.
