We were headed south in a sailboat when we had major repairs to be done and had to be hauled out at Melbourne…. After jumping from hotel to hotel, I decided to try a vrbo (eating out was so expensive)! Property was great! A very good 1st experience!!

This house was an absolute delight! Beautifully restored yet very comfortable, there were architectural delights wherever you looked. This is not a place to stay if you like chrome and bling (though the dining room chandelier is rather eye popping!) but if you are looking for old world Florida with modern creature comforts this house is for you. The second bedroom is rather tight - the master room suite is surprisingly roomy. The kitchen is nothing fancy - it has all you need to feed six people, Linens and bedding were great. We loved the front porch. The constant gentle breeze kept the Florida heat at bay and we enjoyed our breakfast in the morning quiet of the neighborhood- at least until the planes from the airport flew over:) The house was a short drive to the beach and to my friends and family who live in Melbourne. I will be recommending this house to all my friends and definitely will back soon!

We enjoyed our stay! Friends came and stayed a few days as well, they too loved the house. The house - my first thought was most interesting. Certainly not like the modern updated, sterile homes we are use to when you rent. The house was very clean, comfortable, relaxing, I felt like I was home (did miss the dishwasher though, my husband picked up that skill quickly, worked well for me he is quite the dishwasher). The neighborhood was close to everything that we needed, even the beach and watching the dolphins from the Indialantic Bridge. Plenty of restaurants in the area for dining. We liked the house, the area and walking in the neighborhood!!
