About this house rental
Hodnett Cooper presents this classic beach cottage located just steps from the beach (0.13 miles). This single level home features four bedrooms and two bathrooms and is the epitome of a classic older beach house with beautiful refinished original wood floors in most of the house and all others are hard surface of tile or laminate. The large living/dining area provides a great open space for family gatherings. The kitchen was totally remodeled in 2019 and includes an eat in breakfast nook. In 2019 and into 2020 the entire home has been updated with fresh paint, window treatments, new bedding, lots of new furnishings, refurbished porch, exterior painting, all new appliances including washer and dryer. So cute!
The King bedroom has an additional alcove area complete with another 2 twin beds-perfect for keeping an eye on the younger ones!
The glassed in sunroom is another classic with the original jalousie style windows. A great spot to relax or read a book!
The location is ideal with the beach is just steps away in front of the King and Prince Hotel. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance to include Crab Trap, Crab Daddy’s, Echo(oceanfront dining at King and Prince) and Beachcomber Bar-B-Que. Bike rentals are right next door!

Very nice house for our gathering of two families. Would suggest a curtain to hang across alcove in king room. Need more dish towels, potholders and wash clothes. Quiet (in winter) and close to beach, restaurants, bike shop and stores.

Overall good, some small maintenance issues ( loose doorknobs and such) but there was some excessive leaf blowing going on everyday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. It is very roomy and very clean. We intend on renting this home again in the future. They have everything you can possibly need there. Beautiful home and we were certainly happy there with our children and grandchildren.
