Casa Artística is ideally situated within walking distance of the beach, surf schools, restaurants, and boutiques. Set just off the main road, it offers peaceful seclusion without sacrificing convenience—making it the perfect base for your Nosara adventure.
LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT
Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.
If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.
These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.
SAFETY & CANCELLATION
While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.
Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.
Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.

Casa Artistica was perfect for my family. We loved being able to walk to the beach and so many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and surf shops. The layout was great for a family with 2 teens. Lots of space and privacy but nice communal spaces for togetherness! Tiny drawbacks: the construction going on next door and across the street was noisy and annoying. Also, the living room furniture was not super comfortable or set up well for TV viewing, but fortunately, we didn't do much of that! Outdoor spaces are nice. If you visit in December, try to rent ATVs or a golf cart WELL in advance. We we unaware of the limited supply and by the time the management company reached out to ask us what we needed (they were generally great, BTW), everything was sold out. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Costa Rica never disappoints and this property lived up to expectations! We loved the location and the bit of privacy during our busy days and evenings. The proximity to the beach and restaurants was great.

We stayed here with one other family. It was awesome for having kids. Easy access to the beach, a safety gate to the pool, and nice and cool during the heat of the day. The property management was excellent.
