Far and away the BEST home that we have stayed in during our 4 years of visiting our son at USNA! This gorgeous home is welcoming, comfortable, thoughtfully appointed and in an excellent location. Lisa and Bob have thought of and provided everything guests could want. We spent the 2022 USNA Commissioning Week here and no one wanted to leave! It is located in a pretty, peaceful neighborhood and it's proximity to the Yard and DTA is excellent. Our large group enjoyed eating and visiting, both indoors and also outside on the lovely covered back porch, which was a favorite spot for morning coffee. There was plenty of room for everyone and, due to its size and layout, it never felt like there were 14 of us there. The main living area includes a large dining table perfect for meals and card games, a sitting area for visiting or lounging and a huge kitchen island, excellent for prepping, serving and eating meals. A private sitting room on the main level has a very comfortable pullout couch with an adjacent bathroom and was the ideal spot for my 84 year old mom. Each upstairs bedroom is beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The laundry room is conveniently located upstairs as well. The young men in our group slept on air mattresses in the basement family room and loved its privacy plus their own bathroom. The large studio above the garage was a great place for other young adults in our group to stay. The driveway easily accommodates 6 -7 cars. We definitely look forward to staying here again!
