The cabin was located in a remote area. It was spacious and everything we needed for our stay. There were numerous to do while staying there; not a dull momeny. We definitely want to come back next summer :)

Tucked in the woods. Awesome place. Lots of wildlife right in the yard. Deer, squirrels, fox….lots of room for activities with the two kids. Girls 4&7. They’re outdoorsy girls, so they loved it.

Lifelong friendships were forged by camp fire. The cabin is gorgeous and cozy but big enough for 2 families and friends to meet. There is no wifi so cell phone reception is spotty but we loved it

As a family (Mom, Dad sissy (14) brother (5). We absolutely loved our stay! We explored, relaxed and spent time together. Eugene our host was amazing! My kiddos loved all the brochures which led us to many activities !! Horse back riding, chocolate store, pickle store, hiking, deer park, yummy restaurants and more important memories that will last a life time. My birthday weekend was complete!

We stay in Cook Forest every year and this was one of the cleanest, nicest cabins we have stayed in. Exactly as it appears in the pictures. New appliances, everything worked and the owner is close and easily contacted. Highly recommend!

If you want to be near Cook Forest and all of the attractions plus see wildlife, this cabin is ideal. We enjoyed hiking, solitude and the fire pit. Very congenial and friendly host.

We had a lovely time at Coyote Lodge. The property was exactly as described and perfect for our Cook Forest get a way. The kitchen had everything we needed, the towels were soft and almost brand new, the owners provided fans to help keep us cool (we were there during an unseasonably hot spell), there was a nice selection on games, we saw lots of deer and enjoyed time around the nice fire pit. Very quiet place. No noisy neighbors. The road to the lodge is a dirt road for a little bit but that added to the adventure!

This was our first time staying at Coyote Lodge and we really enjoyed it. It was a scary drive in the night with no lights but were so happy when we got to the nice and clean cabin. Far enough out but close enough to all the things we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin was even more beautiful in person compared to the pictures. We couldn’t believe how amazing the cabin was on the inside. They had everything we needed, the appliances were top of the line and there was so much room for my family. There were plenty of options for seating outside, plus dining out front and in the back and around the fire ring. Gene was the nicest guy and super accommodating. It was so quiet around the cabin. Barely heard a vehicle near us. We all loved seeing the deer that came within about 30 feet of the cabin. It only took us 4 minutes to drive to Cook Forest. We forgot a few things and were able to get them in Clarion, which was only 15 minutes away. This was such a relaxing trip for us. We will definitely stay longer next time.

The lodge is perfect for 7 adults to relax comfortably. The firepit is just gorgeous and makes you want one exactly like it. The wildlife is a great view out the kitchen window just looking at you while you make coffee. I would definitely consider coming back..

Quiet solitude for relaxing family time by a beautiful fire; yet only minutes away from almost anything you could dream of doing. Kayaking, fishing, hiking, local restaurants, mini golf, go carts, horse riding, and of course the Double Diamond Deer Ranch. Extremely clean cabin with a well stocked kitchen equipment.

The pictures of this property do not do it justice! The property owner was very responsive and courteous. The outdoor cooking and fire pit was one of our favorite features. Ample parking with a full turn around right to the cabin. Very secluded and private, so quiet and country. Hopefully we will be able to take time to visit again and we will definitely recommend to anyone that wants to relax with no worries.

Cabin could use a good cleaning,windows were dirty, we had to wash utensils and dishes before using. must be a leak under kitchen sink because i had to empty a bowl of water under pipes of kitchen sink. Ceiling fan looks like it has not been cleaned since it was installed. bath towels looked old and dingy.The propane grill on porch was so rusted we were afraid to use it. The cabin itself was very nice looking and location was great.I would stay there again if the place had a good cleaning,but beds and couches are LUMPY.

It's a bit hard to get to but it's worth it because you feel wonderfully away from city noises & traffic. It's well-supplied, the beds are comfortable, and we 4 older adults had plenty of room to be together and separate.

Six of our family traveled from NC, FL, and OH and loved staying at Coyote Lodge. It had everything we needed. Very clean. Was in a beautiful serene setting. The beds were quite comfortable. We had no cell service there, but they had a book there with local attractions and restaurants and we managed. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, making fires, and the quiet setting. The location is very convenient to Cook Forest, Clear Creek State Park and Beartown Rocks (one of the largest rock outcropping in PA was a must-see and you can drive right up to it.) We canoed on the Clarion River. Played putt-putt. Hiked. We saw many dear, chipmunks, bunnies, and wild turkeys and we heard coyotes. We ate out every meal and the food and service in the local restaurants was wonderful. We would definitely recommend staying at Coyote Lodge!

This cabin was in a great location, had good amenities, and checked all the boxes for a nice long weekend in Cook Forest. We had 4 adults and 3 children staying in the cabin and it was perfect for our family. The fire ring and picnic tables received the most use from us as we cooked a lot over the fire. The owner was very responsive to our queries and sold extra firewood, very close to the cabin. We had a great time and would stay there again!

This was my first time renting through VRBO and it was an excellent experience. The owner(s) were quick to respond and very accommodating with our questions. This secluded cabin with modern conveniences was amazing, but close enough to all that Cook Forest has to offer. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat, it was perfect!
