The perch cottage was perfect for our weekend stay in planning a memorial for a family member that had passed away held in Grand Haven. Even though we were there for a sad event, the spacious deck in front was great for me to create floral arrangements for the lunch tables and for the alter for the church service.The house was a great size for our group of four and still had an extra bedroom we used just to set/store items out of the way. The kitchen being stocked with dishes, pots and pots, useful items, coffee filters,

We made it work but we won't stay again. Good things:Close to everything (restaurants, shopping, beach, Grand Haven)Had enough bedrooms for the six of us (14 & 16 year olds stayed in the side room with the trundle bed)AC worked greatNot so good things:Place is pretty small with low ceilings. The pictures make it look way nicer than what it really was. Beds were so uncomfortable and very squeaky Very dirty outside on the patio, we didn't want to sit at the table to eat.
