With a short 3 minute walk to the ocean's edge our little slice of heaven is sure to make you feel right at home! Are you looking for a of taste old school Nags Head? If so, you have found it here at "Cottage de A&E!" Located on the south end between Jenette's Pier and Fish Heads Bar & Grill/Pier you will find our private and quant property nestled up against the OBX preserve. Enjoy the eagles nest balcony off the master bedroom as the sun rises over the Atlantic or watch as the sun sets over the sound on our large back patio with no other properties behind you! On those rainy, relaxing days chill inside under the vaulted ceilings with an open floor plan that is sure to provide that "take it easy" feeling. Whatever your pleasure we promise "Cottage de A&E" will deliver!

Perfect house for our visit. Love the breezes in many rooms thanks to sliding doors and windows. Loved the open spaciousness of the living room and how it was perfectly connected to kitchen. Beds comfy and kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Furniture great and comfortable too. Location was nice, especially being at end of street. Peaceful, quiet, private.

This place was in great proximity to the beach, shops and lots of restaurants. The cottage was really big with lots of seating and space for bigger family’s with tons of games. We had several issues with the cleanliness of this place. Yes it is outdated, but that doesn’t excuse it being dirty and not regulated cleaning that should come with owning a place that people rent. Upon check in, the cleaning company didn’t clearly do what they were supposed to do. There was popcorn, crumbs and dead bugs all over this place. I took it upon myself to vacuum and got half a canister of dirt. The bathroom towels and shower curtain wreaked of mildew and it was unbearable to use. I even washed them myself, and notice the washer rubber seal is covered in mold. The kitchen counters and appliances were very clean but the cabinets were nasty. There was hair, dead bugs and filth all inside and on the outside of the cabinets. Along with the cleaning issues we had the sliding door on the middle level would not lock. I noticed all 3 sliding doors were in need of repair of some sort. Again, this place has its perks and being outdated is fine, but being dirty and lacking repair and general investment with owning a rental is an issue especially when there is a “cleaning fee” being charged.
