Full remodel recently completed with all brand new designer furniture/appliances/finishes/surfaces/accessories, and stunning original art paying respect to Maui's rich heritage and emerald colors.
If you're a foodie and desire to cook your meals in, you'll love the kitchen, as it's outfitted for every imaginable culinary need. Cooking with the brand new Euro double-oven induction range is a total joy. For your convenience, you'll enjoy your own private, in-unit washer/dryer, and our private assigned parking space is literally 10 steps to your front door. No hassling elevators. All-new central A/C, ultra hi-def TV’s, Sonos sound system, wine refer, remote solar shade, beach gear, and high-end coffee and espresso machines. Bottom line: We want to provide you with all the creature comforts of a beautiful oceanfront home so you can feel inspired, relaxed, and totally refreshed.
You'll be staying at the 'private end' of the famed Maalaea Kai resort, and only 20 steps from the surf's edge and local sea-turtle sanctuary. We're approximately 200' from our private swimming pool, so instead of hearing kiddie noises, the only sound you hear is the constant surf and tropical breezes passing through the palm trees.
'The Kai' is famous for its golf-green landscaping, stunning Haleakala sunrises, quiet vibe and the perfect central location to every island amenity. (Our guest reviews rave about the location and laid-back Hawaiian vibe). And, were just a short 5-minute walk to either the sugar sands of uncrowded Maalaea Beach or Maalaea Harbor.
We co-own/manage the adjacent ground floor unit (VRBO #1485275) and between our two units, we've been honored with 100% 5-star guest reviews. (Many of our repeat guests book both units for larger family gatherings and we invite you to do this as well for a discounted rate) .

We LOVED this property! Everything about it was perfect. The condo was immaculate. The location was perfect. Less than 15 minutes from the airport, grocery stores and anything else you need. Walking distance to the Ocean Center (aquarium) which was a great way to spend our first day after traveling, Starbucks, restaurants and the harbor where you can do snorkeling tours (we did the Maui snorkeling adventure on Calypso-highly recommend), sunset cruises and I’m sure anything else you want to do on the water. We were less than 30 minutes from high end shopping, food, beautiful beaches and adorable small villages. John and Trish were the perfect hosts and very helpful with recommendations. We saw the most beautiful sunsets and sea turtles playing right outside

Where to begin, the photos describe the condo perfectly. The condo was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had every thing needed for complete meal preparations. The view…the pictures do it no justice, incredible. The grounds are well maintained and the setting is very quiet. Location is in proximity to the island. We had a 10/10 stay and would definitely stay here again.

Without a doubt this was the best experience we have had with a property and the owner! John was first class in everything he did as well as how his property was ready for us right when we got there! If you are going to visit Maui, you have to consider this place! Clean, comfortable, great location to all of your activities and the views and anmenities are priceless! Event the locals told us that we were staying in a great place based on location to all of our scheduled activities. John was the best and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!

"Honu Heaven"...because we visited with the sea turtles every day...just a few steps from our doorstep! This lovely condo has EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want during your stay in Maui...spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. A great cup of coffee to enjoy the morning light on the ocean...and the perfect ocean view to enjoy your evening glass of wine or dinner. You are literally "one" with the ocean in this beautiful spot! A very gracious host who is there to assist with any need or question...it was the perfect vacation spot! I have visited Maui quite a few times in the past...but did not know Ma'alaea Bay. We found it to be a great central location to explore the entire island...and we did just that!!! The condo complex felt very private and and peaceful...and the building and grounds are well-maintained...a realĺy nice alternative to a big, busy sprawling resort. Such a peaceful haven to return to after a busy day of exploring the island. You will have all the sea turtle viewing you could possibly hope for...in their natural and undisturbed environment. Honu heaven...we LOVED it all!!!
