Musser Lake Escape

If you are hesitating to book this cabin, don’t, just do it! The photos online truly don’t do justice to how quaint, beautiful, and spacious this property actually is. It was the absolute perfect setup for a relaxing lakeside cabin stay.We brought our two dogs, and they had the absolute time of their lives jumping off the private dock and swimming in the lake all day. The property itself feels incredibly private and peaceful, giving you that true Northwoods escape feeling.Inside, the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was completely stocked with everything needed to cook meals at home. The views are so pretty from the de k. When we wanted to get out on the water, having the kayaks and canoes provided was a huge bonus. We also ventured out to multiple restaurants around Phillips, and every single one was fantastic and an easy drive away.We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and will definitely be back!

Great location

We rented this cabin to have a get away with our dog. The home was comfortable and warm. Everything was clean. The kitchen was fully stocked as we chose to cook while there, as it is in the middle of nowhere. We had fires in the pit out back. It was a great time. We asked to use the canoe and kayaks and the host got back to us right away and said yes. There were also life vests available for use. We ended up not going out on the lake as the water had receded quite a bit. It would have took a lot of effort to get any kayaks or canoe out there. I’m guessing it was just the time of year. We were able to see quite a few stars. We played air hockey, which was fun. There were also board games and darts available. We visited the concrete art park in Phillips and went on a few hikes. Overall it was great and I would return and re-rent this specific place. The only downside was limited cell service inside. Was able to get 1-2 bars outside in the back. But the whole point is to disconnect from technology. Internet was a bit slow but workable.

A number of things were either missing, or didn't work, Washer and Dryer missing, Dishwasher didn't work and living room sliding door needs new rollers so it can be opened easily.
