3BR Luxury with INCREDIBLE view & secluded - Hawks Ridge

Our family loved this cabin. Very spacious, and there was plenty to do for all ages. We loved the view most of all! The only thing we would complain about is the trash cans are small, and we were there for a week so it got tight. The top floor is also open more like a loft, which we weren’t aware of. It made it tricky when trying to sleep when others were in the living area. Overall I would definitely visit again!

Really good overall. Nice cabin great viewsThe only constructive suggestions would be that the cleaning service could do a better job between guests, for dead bugs in particular. The kitchen cooking pots/pans/etc need to be replaced and the city trash never picked up the previous guests trash and the Bear proof cage was full when we got there.Otherwise its a nice place to stay!

This year we wanted to spend time in the Great Smoky Mountains and enjoy the fall color there. We found this home on VRBO and decided the location and description was just what we needed. It did not disappoint! The home is beautiful, with comfortable beds and seating, and a million- dollar view of the mountains. The location was secluded and quiet. We loved this home.

Very unimpressed with property . Photos were outdated by years and did not accurately reflect condition of cabin. Upon arrival , the air conditioning was broken and the cabin was 82 plus degrees inside. As nice as the owner was, struggled to get him to get the ac fixed. Tried to push it off for the next day, finally got it working at 10pm and the cabin cooled off after midnight the first day. The grass in the back yard looked nothing like pictured and had not been mowed since the beginning of summer. Grass over 2 feet tall with weeds over 5 feet tall reaching up to the lower deck. Paid to bring my dogs and took 2 days to get the grass taken care of. Leaves from the fall still piled up on the driveway, flowerbeds full of weeds and needing trimmed. Most of the exterior landscape lightings broken or missing. Front door latches and seals poorly. Had water leaking through the ceiling of one of the bathrooms and water puddle on basement floor coming in through window after rain. Main deck exterior door frame rotted away and fresh paint slapped over it. Wifi repeaters broken and unfunctional so internet access was useless. Cabin was not properly cleaned, dusty and even found a ball of hair in one of the bathtubs. Towel bar was broken and missing from master bedroom and glass shelf was halfway ripped off the wall in the master. Many burnt out light bulbs and miss matched regular and led bulbs with different color temperatures. Owner lives in California and likely has never personally seen the property. Property was not worth the nightly rate . The most disappointing part was a bunch of overgrown trees not even in the pictures obstructing the beautiful view that sold us on the booking. Save your money and look elseware.
