About this house rental
REDTAIL HOUSE Is a secluded View Home with wrap around deck and everything a discriminating couple or small family would want to relax, read, prepare meals, and sleep superbly. The Entry opens to the view of the private courtyard with private hot tub. Through the double french doors you will find the large, beautiful, modern Kitchen with island and dining table and seating for four. There you’ll find a well stocked pantry, coffee bar, my personal collection of local art and access to the deck with table and chairs, plus a propane grill and awesome cross-canyon views. Also off of the Entry you'll go up two steps to the very cute Library then pass through double french pocket doors to the Living Room complete with smart TV, Lazy Boy recliner, propane fireplace, piano, writing desk and more art. This sounds grand but it’s a small house that lives large. In the Primary Bedroom is outfitted with a fabulous Cal King bed, closet and chair as well as deck access. The bathroom, just off the hallway, has a wonderfully deep soaking tub with shower. The Second Bedroom has a very comfortable Murphy wall bed single, a chair, closet and another access to the courtyard. In that Courtyard you will find the private spa/hot tub perfect after a long day hiking in Sequoia. There is a separate Laundry Room off of the kitchen and primary bedroom that is well stocked with all the products you’ll need. There is a Tesla charger available for your use at Redtail Cottage (the guest house) and a “Teslatap” adapter for others.

Wonderful trip to Sequoia. The location to the park was key. Comfortable bed. Kitchen well stocked. Wonderful to have the hot tub after long hikes. We would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a vacation to Sequoia.

This home was nothing short of spectacular. We had an extended trip in Yosemite and then Kings Canyon and Sequoia and this was our last stop and our favorite stop on our trip. The home was perfect! So pleasant, peaceful and comfortable and very well appointed. The hot tub was just the right way to soak our tired bodies after long days hiking. The kitchen was so well equipped and organized my husband frequently commented like he felt right at home! The host was super easy to communicate with and left helpful notes. I would come back here again and again.
