Located on a 3 acre property near historic estates, Maple Bank farm stand and Toplands Farm and just 1.5 hours from NYC. The house features beautiful fields, views, a large deck, hot tub, gas grill, firepit. Nearby hiking trails, and Washington filled with restaurants, shopping, distilleries, vineyards, breweries, and more! Ski Mohawk Mountain or Swim Lake Waramaug State Beach.
Washington is exceptional for its excellent restaurants, spas, antique shops, art galleries, boutiques, farms, historic homes, gardens, vineyards, distilleries, and orchards. The Gilmore Girls creator modelled Stars Hollow, the perfect Connecticut town, after Washington and the Independence Inn after the Mayflower Inn. It is the current or former home to many artists, writers, actors and Wall Street executives – referred to as "more Vermont, than Vermont" and "the un-Hamptons". Nature preserves, Lake Waramaug, and the Shepaug River offer extensive hiking, biking, and water activities. Mohawk and Sundown Ski Areas , Lime Rock Raceway, and Quassy Amusement Park are all a short drive.

We had a perfect getaway in this home… and we especially loved the art and furnishings! Great food nearby, and Stephen was so lovely and accessible as a host. Highest recommendation!!!
