About this cottage rental
South facing home on Fairy lake with wide long views. All day sun from early morning until late in the evening. Beautiful Dock perfect for swimming, Gorgeous lake and tree vistas. The living room has a walk out deck, enjoy high ceilings and gas fireplace, walk around the corner to the media room with a wood burning fireplace + fabulous Muskoka room. Minutes to ski hills, Grandview walking trails, walk to town,5 mins to the Hospital. Long wide views of Fairy lake will mesmerize anyone.
The space
Open concept home renovated within the last 5 years which include: bamboo flooring throughout; kitchen with built in SS appliances and solid wood cabinets, updated bathrooms, basement has heated flooring, painting, screened in Muskoka room, granite stairs and landscaping, docks; the list goes on.Gorgeous lake and tree vistas from many of the rooms.The living room has a walk out deck that overlooks Fairy lake, enjoy the cathedral ceilings and the gas fireplace for those chilly Muskoka evenings, walk around the corner to the media room with a wood burning fireplace plus a walk into the fabulous Muskoka room.This Muskoka room is used all summer long, it is as though you are sitting in the trees.The kitchen is ideal for entertaining - your guests can sit and chat in the dining area or they can also enjoy access to the BBQ area and onto the deck overlooking the lake.The main floor library is fabulous for anyone who is working from home the internet is very fast!The upper level has 3 good sized bedrooms with 2 decks and 2 bathrooms.The Master bedroom has views of Fairy lake plus an Ensuite and walk through closet.The lower level is a spacious family room with a bathroom plus a walkout separate entrance - it also has heated floors.
The waterfront is wonderful with a fire pit and docks. Kids will swim all day long here.Shallow and sandy/rocky at the shoreline and 5 feet deep off of the dock.The long wide views of Fairy lake will mesmerize anyone.
The views from the lake house are exceptional - and just as stunning when you get down to the dock. There are multiple flights of stairs to the dock but it is well worth the short exercise! There is lighting all the way down to the dock as well!

The Fairy Lake Hideaway was a perfect place to relax with family and friends. The cottage was well appointed with anything and everything we needed. Our host Brenda was great with communication getting back quickly with any questions we had. The proximity to Huntsville was a real plus. It was so nice to be in the peaceful location on Fairy Lake, but if needed we could zip into town within 5-6 minutes. Great location, fantastic host, beautiful Lakehouse. Book with confidence.

This is not our first time in Huntsville but first time at Brenda' cottage. Spacious cottage, well appointed, well maintained. Close to everything Huntsville has to offer. Definitely will be on our list of places to return to. Thank you Brenda

This was a truly enjoyable 5 day vacation spot in winter. The property was exactly as represented. Very clean, well organized and very comfortable. All amenities (appliances etc.) were provided and in great working order. Its location is perfect. Close enough to Huntsville but not too close. Close to great restaurants, good walking and hiking. Right on the lake - good in summer with good view (location) in winter. Near neighboring properties but extremely quiet. Approx. 1 mile away from main highway - a good thing. Owner is vey nice and very communicative and helpful. Reasonably priced for what is provided. A great experience overall.
