Farmhouse at Antelope Valley

Everything was great and we had a wonderful stay. It was my parents 50th anniversary and we had fun playing cards and pool. My only small complaints are that there were some crumbs on the table when we arrived and they should take off hot tub from the post because there is only a regular bathtub in the master room.

This house was fine for our needs. We had permission to host Thanksgiving dinner for our family up to 30 people for the afternoon meal. We greatly appreciated that. As it turned out we only had 22 so the space was fine. There were some concerns. The listing did not say anything about no shoes in the house. We received that information the day before check in. This was difficult since we had older people attending. Also, the floors are extremely cold being in the high desert area of Nevada. The request to keep the heat at 65 was also difficult as the furnace had a mind of its own. Morning temps were in the 20’s and the house was cold. At night the furnace would heat the bedroom to upper 70’s. You might want to have the furnace checked. Finally the bathrooms and bedrooms were extremely clean. Which we greatly appreciated. However, the kitchen counters and table top were not. We had to clean them before we could put food items etc. on them. Many of the utensils had to be rewashed before use. The bathrooms allowed one towel per guest for the time stayed. We found unwashed towels in the utility room and washed them for use. There was no soap except hand soap in the bathrooms. The master bedroom had no pillow cases for the bed. Finally, you have a mouse problem. We had to vacuum the rugs and living area floors when we arrived. I don’t mind paying a cleaning deposit but I don’t like having to clean upon arrival.

The house is very nice and very quiet. Accomodations were great and owner very responsive. We will be doing this again.

We have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy the home and property. We will continue to come back again and again
