About this house rental
Welcome! We have spent close to 2 years designing and building our dream house on Lake Bomoseen. It will be completed in July of 2022. (These photos are mostly renderings other than the landscape. For progress pictures, please visit bomoseenaframe on IG.) It is a quiet spot on the north end of the lake, with no direct neighbors and calm waters.
It is located about 45 minutes from Killington, 45 from Okemo, and 30 from Pico.
It will be rentable in three different configurations: 5BR/3.5BA, 3-BR/2.5BA, or a 2BR/1BA unit. Please contact us for pricing on one of the smaller configurations.
The property has 285 feet of shoreline with a dock, a roof deck, front porch, fire pit, grill, central air, two kitchens, two sets of washer/dryer units, 2-car garage, access to tons of biking and hiking trails, and stunning views south down the lake with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or a nearby wedding. (Please note that we do not have a motorboat available to renters, but you can rent them at Woodard’s at the south end of the lake, or bring your own boat and use our dock.)
This house is brand new so we’re wary of pets but since we have a dog ourselves, we’re also open to discussing it if your dog(s) won’t wreck anything…
We have a strict cancelation policy because it will be difficult to re-rent on short notice, but if you need to cancel and we can re-rent it, we will refund you in full. We also have a week long minimum booking for peak (typically Saturday-Saturday but that is flexible) and three nights for off-peak. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful property. 3 generations enjoyed comfy beds, great linens and towels and plenty of spices and condiments. The living spaces are roomy and very comfortable and with 2 some of us worked in the mornings while others watched the Olympics on the huge screen. The rooftop deck is great during the day for reading and a fun dance party at dusk. We brought floats and spent many hours in the lake and rented a boat for a day. Trey is a great host and even let us know there was a chance to see the Aurora (but it was cloudy) although we did see millions of stars another night. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in Castleton at the AA frame house! This beautiful home offered plenty of space for our group of two families—4 adults and 4 teens. We made the most of every area in the house. The location is stunning and very peaceful at the end of the lake. We rented a boat and used it daily, and our kids also enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Trey was incredibly responsive and helpful from pre-booking to check-out. We would love to come back!

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful property. We had three generation's that came together and enjoyed a great time. The home was comfortable for all and well appointed, we had everything we needed and then some. Trey was a great host, very responsive, and the information contained in the welcome packet was top notch and covered all the bases. Don’t miss out on this unique property.
