About this house rental

Our Lake House has vintage charm with a throw back to carefree days at the lake that include 1930s woodwork with original interior doors, interior porch windows, staircase and hutch in the kitchen. Don't worry, we didn't forget about the new amenities too! This home has been renovated and has new exterior doors, windows, flooring, quartz countertops and comes with a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, gas range, stainless steel refrigerator, wireless internet and TVs for streaming your favorite shows. Relax on the enclosed porch in the swing or outside on the back deck or by the firepit.

This home has a lake view from the upstairs bedrooms and a peekaboo view from the front porch. Renters will also have access to a private dock for use that is located on Main Street which is just a quick walk from the house. In addition to the private dock, that is included in the rental, you also have access to two kayaks with life vests.

The home is within walking distance of a 6 mile bike or walking path, several eat in restaurants, pizza places and fast food options. It is also within a mile of the grocery and hardware store. For those looking for a winter retreat, we are also located 18 miles from Mad River Mountain.

Perfect spot for a girls weekend! We relaxed, walked on the bike path (which was just across the road), enjoyed nearby restaurants, and played games. The home was very nice, had exactly what we needed to cook several meals, and was in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house!! Clean. Unique. Nicely decorated. Very well equipped! The living space is cozy and functional. Great communication from the host. Reason for 4 stars: The house is across major road from lake. We couldn’t use the kayaks because we (mostly in our 60s) just couldn’t with the dock/slip as it is. The neighbors were quiet and friendly but the outdoor spaces at the house didn’t appeal to us due to close proximity of other houses. HOWEVER we enjoyed walking the bike path and the house so much!! We spent a lot of time inside playing board games, puzzling, cooking and eating. The streaming access on the main TV was great too! Highly recommend this house and host for those who don’t mind not being right on the lake.

Amazing host and vacation home to rent! The property was fully loaded for a family trip with younger kids. Clean. Great location near amenities, trails and a watefromt park. Loved our evenings on the lake the most. Check out Fox Island, Jack n’ Dos pizza, the Gathering Grounds coffee shop and classic donuts. Would love to stay again.

This was our third time staying at Indian Lake and this was by far our favorite house. Our son plays football for ONU and this lake us only a 30 minute drive to Ada, OH. This was a great house with lots of room for our entire family. It was very kid friendly with games and plastic kid sized plates, bowls and silverware. We enjoyed the outside seating area and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was easy to get to and the detailed directions for parking were very helpful. The 3 full bathrooms made it easy for all of us to get ready to go in the morning. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an ice maker. We HIGHLY recommend this house. It is very cute and the incorporation of the original materials in the new renovations are amazing!

We had an incredible stay at the Vintage Lake House. The house itself was so cute and everything was so clean! We had a large group of women, but everyone had plenty of room with bedrooms. Kara even had a trundle bed in the bunk room! All 3 bathrooms were nice and clean, which was also great. I would absolutely stay here again!

The Vintage Lake House was the perfect place for a group of 5 sisters to gather, laugh, and make new memories. Plenty of space to gather inside and out. The location is great. The property was so nice, check-in and check-out was easy. 3 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms, this is something I wish I had while raising 3 children. The kitchen was so spacious that all 3 bridesmaids, the bride and I had plenty of space to prepare snacks for the wedding. We wanted a family Christmas without anyone stressing about getting their house ready or making the drive Christmas morning. This house worked out wonderfully for us. We all settled in Christmas eve and relaxed playing games and enjoying each other's company. Christmas day we opened presents in the cozy porch room. Then made a giant meal in the amazing kitchen, it was stocked with everything we needed. The 9 of us that stayed overnight were thrilled with the sleeping accommodations and the 3 bathrooms were very nice. My sister in law and niece made a frigid walk to see the lake and were thankful it was so close. The owner was great and responsive with the contact I had with her,she wanted to make sure our Christmas was as good as possible. The house was even better than the photos give it credit for and the countertops and kitchen sink are now on my kitchen reno wish list!

From the time we drove up to "The Vintage Lake House" we were hooked! This property is a combination of old style and modern living...and clean as a pin! Our family went including our two granddaughters ages 12 and 8. They ran around the home pointing out all the fun things like foos-ball, games and bunk beds! They both decided from the first site that they wanted to live there forever! They loved it as we all did. After a couple days of gaming, boating, napping and smores late Tuesday night Addy (age 8) complained of a stomachache. She said she thought it was her appendix. How would she know it was here appendix? After a little time her mom and my wife took her to the ER where they did a CT scan and sure enough she had to be rushed to Columbus Childrens Hospital for an appendectomy. After she woke up Wednesday morning in recovery she sweettalked the surgeon into coming back to the Lake House she so loved to recover for the last few days. He agreed with a few orders and Wednesday evening they were back and she was happily relaxing. She is doing Great! I couldn't sum it up any better than that!

Stayed with our two kids 7 and 10 years old. The kids went straight for the foosball table and loved the porch set up great way to keep them entertained or relax after lake time. We snuggled in the living room for a family movie night then Mom and Dad were informed this house was way cooler than our own 🤣. Would love to come back again.

I stayed here for the weekend with my family. There were 8 of us total and everyone was very comfortable. We were able to use the dock that was a two minute walk away to park our boat rental. The house was very clean and we had a lot of fun using the firepit and the foosball table.

This property not only screams “Lake House” it is a treat to stay in a place where the attentive owners have taken painstaking care to preserve its past charm and magically blend it with modern amenities. Wood pane windows, French doors and a charming kitchen breakfront coupled with doors and a stairway of yesteryear gave us a glimpse of this home’s past. Staying in such a unique home was a huge part of why this was such a special spot to enjoy lake life. The location was fantastic in that steps away we could fish, boat, and enjoy the park. This home is spacious and is designed so everyone can comfortably gather and still maintain his or her own space. Our three grandsons loved the foosball and their special bunk room. Thank you to the owners for all your efforts to make this stay easy and memorable. We all want to return!
