4 bedrooms home located on the deep water canal 13630 Garris Dr. Hudson Fl 34667

The home was clean and exactly as advertised, except there is no twin bed, it looked like a full where the twin was supposed to be. Which is a positive. The home needs some updating on outside with some landscaping, the grill needs replacing but it was a very nice house that worked excellent for our family. The canal access is nice. The neighbors were amazing, the renters should thank those neighbors for being so friendly! The kayaks were a nice touch, with the kayak launching pad. Just be aware of the tide currents, lol! The master bedroom has a sliding door to the other bedroom with a bathroom and we didn’t like this too much as you could hear well between the two rooms. There is a marina a couple blocks away where you can rent boats, but cannot go up canals with them. Don’t plan on picking up your family from the home with the boat lol. We drove to Disney in about two hours northeast, was able to go to Clearwater beach in about an hour and a half south (with traffic) and crystal river manatee encounter is about an hour north so it was centrally located to all the planned events. The refrigerator had an ice machine that worked well so we could put a couple ice packs with the ice from the fridge and never had to buy ice. Overall, the beauty of Florida and the pricing and location of this home as well as the cleanliness worked very well for us. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The homeowners were very quick to respond and were kind.

Love the area. The dock was great. House is basic, but that’s all we needed. Would have liked the coffee maker.

This house worked out perfect for us. We were in town for a funeral. Everyone fit with their own room. Floating dock was cool and the kayaks ! Onlu recommendation, would be to use better cleaner on the floors. They were sticky. Easy fix. Overall, highly recommend!

It was ok for our short stay. Needs a few updates.
