Perfect location for your getaway island vacation for anyone who loves fishing! The southern end of Fort Myers Beach offers nature walks, shelling on the beach and good fishing on the Bay. A Resort Sized Heated Pool invites you to swim or just soak up the sun. The small, but friendly community of Estero Yacht and Racquet Club sits on an extra wide canal that leads to the beautiful Estero Bay and is only minutes to the blue waters of the Gulf. The Club amenities include large extended dock areas and boardwalks for relaxing or dining while enjoying fabulous views of boat traffic, exotic birds and even dolphins and manatees swimming by. Picnic Tables and BBQs are set out by the water.
Walk out your front door and down the avenue and you are on one of the top rated beaches in the country, with seven miles of white sand and world famous sunsets. For your convenience, this condo complex offers full Laundry Facilities on site right by the pool...so no need to go home with dirty laundry! The condo is located on the first floor, but there are some steps to the front door. It offers a better waterfront view with a walk out screen door that can take you to the boardwalk along the Bay and the picnic and BBQ area. To add to your fun, there are two bicycles for guests to use to explore the island!

Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Now open, Santini Marina Plaza, just across the street, will offer you shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! Just great. Didn't need them, but fishing poles were a surprise. Two weeks of nothing but sun 72 -84 degree daytime temps and one fantastic pool party during my 2 week stay. Next time got to stay longer.

We enjoyed Fort Myers Beach a lot! We didn't realize there would still a lot of construction going on from Hurricane Ian, but there was still enough to do. The condo was nice and very clean, all redone, but the listing was old and mentioned an in- room washer and dryer which I was planning on. It was ok as there was a community one that was a good walk to. Also, the sink in the bathroom was backed up. We let them know right away and a maintenance man came but was unable to fix, so we had to go without the sink in the hallway bathroom. The place said sleeps 5, which it does, but just know it is only one bedroom; I overlooked that when booking! Otherwise, it was a nice place, good location, and the reponses were quick when we had questions:)
